Shocker is a hard hitting Rock N Roll band originally formed in 2006, and reformed in 2010.   Known for shocking on stage antics, thunderous drums, howling vocals, and blazing guitar solos Shocker continues to carve a unique path.   

Originally formed in Grand Junction, CO as an acoustic 4-piece in 2013, Apollo's Grace has always been about versatility and originality. Never interested in the usual local cover band mentality, some of the songs date back to 2005- and like all things, have changed over the years from songs written for quiet summer evenings in the back yard to fully realized pieces on the band's debut album Almost Destroyed.
Incorporating diverse influences, from early progressive rock to Seattle grunge and from modern folk to heavy metal, Apollo's Grace has tried to carve out a place in the musical spectrum that is distinct while also being comfortably familiar. 
The current Apollo's Grace consists of three original members: Vocalist and rhythm guitarist Paco Mendenhall, lead guitarist John Berry, and percussionist Corby Deutsch. Bassist Scott Moore joined the band in the fall of 2013, and original vocalist Don Perry departed at the end of that year.  At this point, the direction shifted from the acoustic sound to that of a more traditional rock and roll alignment, and has remained on that path since, culminating in the release of Almost Destroyed. Future projects are yet to be determined, but one can be assured that they will always be presented in the spirit of the first; the uniting power of music and the freedom it brings to everyone. 

JeConte is soulful, swampy, harmonica infused, high-vibrational bluesy rock n' roll. JeConte travels all over the World performing and has bands based in: San Francisco, New Orleans, Paris France & Bamako Mali. Coming off his 2013 release of Mali Blues (#4 Putumayo World Music Album of the Year)with successful European & US tours, 2015 will see the spring release of ‘Down by the Bayou,’ produced by, and featuring, Anders Osborne and released on Red Parlor Records. 

Down by The Bayou showcases the bluesy soulful vocals and lightening harmonica chops of renowned livewire JeConte, backed by a ferocious blues rock band featuring New Orleans legend Anders Osborne, veteran LA rocker Wally Ingram, Bayou bassman Carl Dufrene, San Francisco slide virtuoso Chris Haugen & long time JeConte writing partner and lead guitar maestro Matty Cohen.  

Down by the Bayou dips deep into the roots of the Bayou, while simultaneously preserving the NorCal Rock n’ Roll and West African influences of JeConte’s style. Recorded upon his escape from the coup d’etat in Mali at Dockside Studios in Maurice Louisiana in 2012, JeConte went directly from the war torn West African country and the Mali Blues sessions, into the heart of the Bayou to carve out a record that inspires deep soulful southern blues, and begs the listener to ask for more. 


Singer/songwriter, David Everett Johnson weaves homespun lyrics and melodies that reveal vivid personal narratives about his journey. His recordings feature skillful arrangements, vibrant instrumental layers, and harmonies and rhythms that showcase his deep roots in not only country, but blues, bluegrass, and rock n’ roll. While David’s rich baritone voice hearkens back to influences like Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, and George Strait, he approaches the Country genre with an outside-the-box mentality, creating music that is both traditionally minded yet also innovative and uniquely his. His passion for storytelling and the guitar shines on stage. An open, honest and energetic performer, he uses his music to express his personal perspectives on joy, sorrow, love, and heartbreak.

Johnson’s debut, self-produced album, Black Mountain, is a collection born from his desire to make an album that celebrates country’s roots while reflecting on his own journey to Nashville. In his words,
“The title track of this record is based on the life of my great-grandfather, Thomas Everett Johnson. He rode horseback over the Appalachian Mountains from Washington County, Virginia, to Harlan County, Kentucky to find work as a coal miner and carve out a better future for his family. The character in the song looks up at Black Mountain (the highest peak in the state of Kentucky) and sees it as a symbol of despair and failed dreams. Coming to Nashville and seeing the current state of the music industry and country music in general, it would be easy to have that same feeling of despair and hopelessness. I want this album to represent hope, that by being myself and making the kind of music I want to make, I can find success. This success may not be in “a fortune or a name” but I hope that this album will in some way bring people joy, even if that means something as simple as being songs you can dance or drink a beer to.”
Black Mountain also includes the talents of many incredible studio musicians, most notably, Mike Johnson, two-time ACM Steel Guitar Player of the Year, and Mike Cleveland, who has won the IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year nine times and was recently nominated for a Grammy for best bluegrass album.

Born and raised in Kentucky and the eldest of nine children, he was immersed in music from a young age especially by his mother, a gifted singer and pianist herself. His childhood home was always full of a mixture of bluegrass, classic country, rock n’ roll, and the work of singer-songwriters like Billy Joel, Jim Croce, and Paul Simon. He got his first guitar at 13 and immersed himself in it. It wasn’t until he listened to Johnny Cash’s Live at Folsom Prison, however, that he became captivated by the power of songwriting and storytelling and their ability to convey a clear view into the window of human emotion and experience, particularly in country music. Cash inspired him to be an artist and it was within this straightforward yet poetic sound that he discovered his own voice as a singer and songwriter.

Now based in Nashville and ever focused on his artistic evolution, he is constantly co-writing with other Nashville artists and songwriters. In February 2018 he signed with an independent label, Break the Cycle Entertainment. Outside of his own work as an artist, David works as an in-demand freelance guitarist, playing in the studio and on the road for a number of acts including Bryan Frazier, Cody Joe Hodges, and Jordan Hobson. He is also in the process of co-producing his first outside production: up-and-coming country artist, Katie Ray’s debut EP. David has released two singles: “Colorblind” and “Somewhere” and his first album, Black Mountain is set to release in the next few months.

Pike Cavalero -performer, songwriter and audio engineer grown in the South-East of Spain- has managed to carve himself a niche in the independent music scene offering a concept based on his powerful and real shows.
Always accompanied by a distinctive rootsy sound and his very noticeable looks, he has succeeded to combine the essential factors in order to get in on some of the most important European and Spanish stages of the classic rock’n’roll scene, even overseas both ways, letting him to introduce his music in Australia or Mexico.

Pike starts his course mid 2009, when he decides to join his passion for vintage sounds with his first steps in the writing, recording and production fields into a band, in which alongside veteran musicians -also from the Spanish South-East coast– achieves to obtain his most personal feel. They make their debut as Pike Cavalero & The Gentle Bandoleros in 2010 with the self-produced demo ‘Weekender’, released on December, 21st in digital and CD formats, achievement which obtains as result the support by one of the genre-oriented leader independents, Sleazy Records from Málaga, SP, which releases their first Long-Play ‘Just a Matter of Manners’.

After a vertiginous year plenty of shows in clubs and weekenders, and a warm reception by the classic rock’n’roll scene, two new releases came to light, keeping the essence and gaining conviction and personality. ‘Six Shooter Blues’(7″ EP – Sleazy Records – 2012) and ‘Second Round’ (7″ EP – Sleazy Records – 2013) just make the artist continue walking the line, strengthening his image. After the release of ‘Torro’ (Sleazy Records, 2014), the Spanish 7” single ‘Ahora que lo tienes’ (Sleazy Records – 2015), and 10” album ‘Sin Miedo a Volar’ (Sleazy Records – 2016), the 4 track 7” EP ‘Boppin and Jivin’ with…’. (Sleazy Records -2017), Pike faces a new stage under the celebrated guitar picker and producer Mario Cobo’s guidance introducing ’Spring is in the air / Tack-tack boogie’ (Sleazy Records – 2019) , the 7” sneak peek of his forthcoming album ’Three Chords & the Truth’ , record that promises to be a contemporary classic within the genre.

Founder, Mike Niewald, played with Cory Corbino and Joe Gose in the mid 80s surf punk, psycho-billy band, ABSOLUTE CEILING. Niewald and Corbino linked up with guitarist J. Doyle Holopter in the 90s to form THE BINDLESTIFFS, which preceded the oncoming "alternative country" movement of that era.

Rock ‘n’ roll is built on a foundation of great vocalists, and Beverly McClellan is quickly becoming its newest cornerstone. NBC-TV’s The Voice introduced her to the world as a singer of stunning power and range with the presence and ability to draw comparisons to Etta James, Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt and Melissa Etheridge, to name just a few of the great torchbearers whose legacies she evokes. Now McClellan’s debut international release Fear Nothing presents her as a true and original artist — a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and dynamic presence with the ability, authority and desire to carve her own place in music history.

“I believe that I have a message,” says McClellan. “It’s simple: be yourself, love yourself, always be honest, and let the rest come naturally. That’s the way I live my life and make my music.” And that’s the easygoing Zen she applied to the recording of Fear Nothing at Los Angeles’ House of Blues studios with producer David Z. (Prince, Fine Young Cannibals, Billy Idol, Buddy Guy) and the superb rock and roots session players he assembled: guitarist Josh Sklair, keyboardist Jimmy Pugh, bassist Hutch Hutchinson and drummer Tony Braunagal — all noted producers in their own right. McClellan also brought along her own longtime guitar foil Billy Vazquez, and a stack of mostly upbeat and entirely heartfelt new songs.

“Making Fear Nothing was as smooth as melting butter on a oven-hot slice of bread,” the veteran of the south Florida club scene recounts. “I showed the songs to the guys and then we played them together in the studio and that was it. We played some of them two or three times, but a lot of performances on the album are first takes, so they have that edgy, live feeling just like on stage.”

McClellan’s anthemically rocking “I Can't Hide Me” is a bold declaration of purpose. Its rollicking roadhouse feel buoys a sweetly snarling vocal performance — dappled with her rich vibrato and skyrocketing notes that fly to the heights of her astonishing register — that celebrates her “what you see is what you get” attitude. And with McClellan, there’s plenty to see. For the past 15 years, from the day she left her job as a dentist’s assistant for a lunch break and never returned, she’s kept her head shaven and added a series of tattoos that help tell her life story. Her orca and bear body art speak of her part-Native American heritage. McClellan’s colorful peacock-and microphone sleeve was acquired during her time on The Voice, where she was a wildly popular “Final 4” contestant earlier this year.

Fear Nothing is McClellan’s fifth CD and the first she didn’t have to make in fits and starts as she’d save enough money from performing five nights a week in clubs around her Fort Lauderdale base to pay for more studio time. “It was so much fun to just go in and record all the songs at once, and I think that joy got caught on tape, too,” she relates. It’s palpable in the romantic ballad “Come To Me,” where McClellan’s flowing piano melody carries verses that brim with promises of devotion until the choruses provide their soaring crescendos. “It Ain’t Me” is equally ardent, albeit in spinning a tale of lies and their consequences over a funky, blues powered arrangement that taps McClellan’s strong background in roots music. The latter runs even deeper in “Nobody’s Fault But Mine,” a tune by early Delta bluesman Blind Willie Johnson that McClellan discovered on an album by one of her inspirations, the late jazz and blues giant Nina Simone. “Tender of the Most” is another song that captures her ongoing celebration of life, blending her piano with a catchy, percolating drum beat. And “I See Love” is a pure shot of joy, celebrating the power of the sweetest of emotions. “When I played the Atlanta Pride Festival in October, nobody out of those 50,000 people had heard this song before, and they all started singing along,” McClellan says. “It was beautiful.”

Fear Nothing also marks the first time McClellan has written songs with other artists. Most notably there’s “Love Will Find A Way Out,” co-written, produced by and recorded by Keb’ Mo,’ who also plays scalding blues guitar on the track, in his Nashville home studio. “He was the one person in the world I most wanted to write with, and as luck had it he’s a friend of my manager,” McClellan explains. “Keb made everything so easy because he is such a pro. Some people are just born with it and he definitely was. I am honored to have worked with him. Keb and his family are a sweet clan, and I felt warm to he welcomed into their home. I went in with no expectations and came out with a song that drives itself with just a little help from Keb and me....”

In that sense, the song returns McClellan to her beginnings in music. She was born in East Tennessee and raised in Virginia’s hilly south. Today, McClellan plays more than 10 instruments, including guitar, trumpet, French horn and a host of other fretted and percussive devices. She shares, "It was kind of inevitable that I’d be a musician. I started writing my own songs when I was 13, but it just took me a while to make up my mind and really go for it."

After recording four solo albums on her own, McClellan received an email from a friend goading her to submit a video performance for a show that NBC was adding to its roster. “He wrote me that he knew I was not into the corporate scene at all, but he dared me so I had to send them a YouTube link,” she recounts, “and in an hour they got back to me and asked me to audition.” Within weeks she was making her national television debut, and both Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine wanted McClellan for their teams. McClellan chose Aguilera, and the rest — including a duet with Aguilera on the superstar’s hit “Beautiful” and five other singles — is history.

Now McClellan is ready to write a new chapter all on her own with Fear Nothing. “I’m just flying by the seat of my soul like I always do,” McClellan says. “I’m so ready to go out on the road and bring these songs to the world in a way I’ve never been able to before. It’s like the title says — I want the people who hear my music to fear nothing, and to feel the love, get inspired, and spread it around.”
