03 BCSM 009  Goosensei - Dub Uprising Clip

Here it is, the brand new album from Echo Chamber Sound celebrating over 10 years of releasing music and running the soundsystem.
This one is something a bit different from the vinyl releases we have done.
The album comes on an engraved USB with matching engraved box.
22 tracks in total, ranging from previously unreleased dubs from 2009 up to brand new music finished the day before the album was finalised.
Release date April 1 and available only at the gig at Kindred Bandroom on April 1, bu a few copies will be available via the Echo Chamber Sound Bandcamp for those who can't reach the event.

Having first surfaced on Osiris sister label 'Ruffcut' just over 2 years ago, Tremble has quickly built a small, but core following. 2017 sees Tremble launch his own platform 'Safari Music'. 

The first release is a 3 track slab of dubbed out plastic, with each tune offering the usual Dred beats, Heavy subs, and blissed out atmospherics that Tremble has become known for.

We are very pleased to finally unleash ZamZam 62, a power-plate from New Zealanders LQ & Headland.  We’ve been running both of these tunes on acetate for some time now, and the results are consistently devastating.  

Gene Warriner, better known in the sound system world as Headland, is a prolific producer of dark, multi-faceted bass music whose star has been rising via singles and EPs on Innamind, Unity Through Sound, and Well Rounded Dubs.  Ben LQ AKA Low Quality is an accomplished producer and runs the Dub/Steppas/Jungle vinyl label Echo Chamber Sound, dropping 10”s and 12”s since 2010. 

The collaborative “Fat Neck” (a cheeky working title that we insisted on keeping) is all about space - dubbed, dusty samples flex and breathe, creating a tense, cinematic space laced with sparse, chopped reggae snares and metronomic hi hats.  The lurching riddim is bonded by a web of Space Echo, spring reverb, and the saturation of LQ’s vintage soundtracs desk for a minimal yet powerfully immersive tune. 

Headland’s solo “Mineral Run” is a 140 workout that manages to weld 4/4 dub techno and half-time dubstep swagger into a rare, gleaming hybrid machine that causes mayhem every time it’s dropped.  “Mineral Run” was also put through LQ’s desk, unifying the sound of these two mini-epics.  The magic in both of these tunes is how deceptively simple they are, how easy LQ & Headland make it sound… but as every fan of sound system music knows, the proof is in the dance. 

Mastered by Sam at Precise.  Released early May, 2018. Limited to 700 7" vinyl copies for the world. Design & screen print by Polygon Press.  No repress, no digital.

Our last, but by no means least, release of 2020 coming from mega powerhouse-producer @teffa dropping two huge 140 tracks to round off this bazaar year.

A - Pluto
Utilising deep chords and filled with constantly developing grooves, this track is filled with sounds which can only be described as echoes from the outer reaches of space, or Pluto if you like. 

B - A20
Certainly what some might call a left-field approach to speed garage, Teffa perfectly blends funky snares, filtered square waves and rattling percussive sound design into an incredibly tidy dancehall-ready track.

This time 50 copies will be available to preorder from our Bandcamp. 
All records will be hand-cut by the dubplate-cutting master Henry Bainbridge at @Dubstudio, onto 10" transparent plates!

Preorders will open on our Bandcamp on 11/12/20 @ 3PM GMT
