Hello to all you wonderful people, today I'm finally releasing my long overdue "Leightons Lockdown Mix", this mix is an Hour-long which is my longest mix to date, it is jam-packed with my best blends and doubles from the past 2 years, featuring every Sub Genre of Drum & Bass there is, I'm so glad to finally get this out its been a while since I have posted.

I only had one goal in mind for the overall meaning and feeling I wanted to represent on this mix and that was for it to represent Good Vibes and New Beginnings, we've all had a hard 2 years but the power of music will always help us feel better, I do believe this is my best mix to date but I feel it loses flow and skill towards the end due to it being an hour-long I guess.

I want to apologize for delaying this release I honestly have just been so busy with college, events, and work, life is honusly just going at full speed atm. I can guarantee this mix is worth the wait if u enjoy what I have created please give a like and share with family, friends, and socials I really want to push this mix out there for all ears thankyou. Big love for all the continuous support this year.

The first live recording from Wrong Side of the Tracks 2022 comes from our long time brothers and collaborators DJ BISH and Raze Soundsystem host MC Lukai. 

More than a decade of proving himself as one of Bristol’s most exciting DJs, Born On Road resident; Bish laid the foundations for himself to become a deserved front runner for the UK’s underground DnB scene.

Triple threat plays by Andy C to a sold-out Wembley, bagging Radio 1’s ‘rinse out track of the week’ alongside Mandidextrous with their collaborative dancefloor banger, ‘Techno On My Mind’, and a 6 week tour of New Zealand with BOR are all recent testaments as to why you should know the name. His steady climb to the limelight has humble origins. Starting off as a household favourite resident at nights such as Southwest’s famous Bristek & Rumble in the Jungle, he quickly began to hone in on a quintessentially Bristol
sound.

Gray has been making waves at Born On Road HQ since our 1st slightly bizarre meeting with him in a field in Winchester at a popular music festival in 2018. Though his roots run a lot deeper. He cut his teeth though the free party scene in his hometown of London proving he has the minerals whist effortlessly mixing between styles.

Since moving to Bristol he has fully submerged himself into the circuit growing ever popular amongst ravers who have taken to joining in with the infectious vocals of his newly acclaimed anthem ‘Rubadub’, just one of the tunes off this heavyweight EP that has been doing major damage over the summer and is already turning the heads of some of the big players in the scene and it’s sub genres!

Gray has also enrolled the talents of two veterans of the scene, The Ragga Twins drop the lead line on Blood, a hard hitting bass heavy tune.

This EP is rammed packed full of goodness and comes with our certified Born On Road dance floor seal of approval, we are super hyped to welcome Gray as a member of our ever expanding family and we all look forward to working with him more in the future. But for now we’ll let the music do the talking…
