Satoshi Tomiie has been a pioneering and driving force within the global electronic music community since the early days of house music. Now, decades after his ‘Tears’ alongside Frankie Knuckles, the Japanese born, New York and based DJ, producer, remixer and label boss is still regular feature in the sets of many of today’s underground elite.
A student of jazz and classical piano, Satoshi is musically adept and accomplished producer who constantly evolved how he works. Experimenting with a new hybrid Modular DJ setup which sees him effortlessly fuse live analogue modular synthesis and with traditional DJ sets. Regularly playing clubs such as DC10, Rex and from South America to Tokyo while releasing music on labels such as YoY, Yoyakuza, Kaoz Theory, No19, MFR, Holic, and his own Abstract Architecture. Satoshi is as relevant as ever and continues to make waves throughout the electronic music community as only he knows how.

Beatmaker of 18 years, on and off. Started in 2007 using Reason and a KORG padKONTROL. Began sampling in 2009 with FL Studio and a Sony MDR-7506. The rest is history, as they say. I also enjoy rapping from time to time. Currently I use an FL Key, FL Studio 21, and a Shure SM57/A81WS windscreen combo w a Universal Audio Volt 2 and Yamaha HS7s. 

I work in online marketing and run the website Home Studio Basics. There you can find all my ramblings from 2014 onward about anything music production related, including headphones, microphones, amplifiers, dacs, and the small home production studio in general. 

My "career" has had peaks and valleys, but my undying love for beats will never change.

Nané was created by singer and producer, Daniel Sahad, and lead guitarist, Ian Green.  The 5-piece Indie rock band based in Austin, Texas culminates a punchy, psych-tinged, lyrical variety of rock and soul. Their diverse instrumentation is congealed by Nane’s soulfully rooted voice that ushers an audience into experiencing full range of emotion throughout their set while appealing to an equally broad spectrum of musical tastes. Nané is set to release an album in early 2020, produced by Grammy-winning drummer/producer, John Speice, & producer Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas / Brownout).
