This is a song we felt compelled to learn a few years ago, and we feel the need to post it now.  There is no time like the present.  Like our other tracks, it was performed at a local low-income senior housing complex for a very forgiving audience.

The rusted chains of prison moons
Are shattered by the sun.
I walk a road, horizons change

Puts shutters on the dreams.

The black queen chants the funeral march,

I chase the wind of a prism ship

Greetings! We are Jonny Hummingbird and Shelley Meadowlark, an acoustic duo available for hire that just loves to share great songs for people. Our style is an odd mix of genres, and our song list ranges from timeless pop, to folk, country, bluegrass, gospel, and even a couple of 15th century numbers! We play live at a variety of venues, including restaurants, lounges, festivals, fundraisers, church functions, funerals, private parties, and the occasional private acousticism for those suffering persistent electric earworms. :-)
Seriously though, we are hobby musicians who just hope we can bring some joy to those who hear our music. Will be slowly adding songs to this page. Thank you for listening.
