I finally got my top engineer, SlycenDyce , all the way from Killeen, Tx , in the studio to work alongside me on a track produced by LOOPGOONZ. It took 24 hours to record, mix, and master the track, 24 hours well spent. The song speaks true to a true hustler’s spirit. No matter how often we are knocked down, we are always able to “Bounce” back.

Born in Liberia, but raised in Philadelphia, PA, Alvin Bedell, better known as ABwonderZ, is an edgy conscious rap artist. ABwonderZ’s musical style can be considered edgy, conscious, hardcore, and gritty. Reminiscent of to 90’s MCs, such as: Nas, Jay-Z, and Outkast, and similar to artist today, such as: J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. ABwonderZ music centers around life experiences: whether they be families,’ peers,’ or through his own lenses. His muses derive from life’s everyday ups and downs, the complications of being a man, and the obstacles one must take to achieve greatness. Most importantly, ABwonderZ music provides hope, something that all races, ethnic groups, and cultures can relate to. Hope being a central theme of ABwonderZ life and music, especially when it is all that is remaining when facing possible deportation in federal prison for a robbery committed at the age of eighteen. It was this critical experience that made ABwonderZ turn his life around, and realize the impact his decisions have upon his life, as well as others. Since then AbwonderZ’ s music has centered around positive messages of love and determination, asking people to stay united and strong as opposed to divided and weak. An oxymoron of his soft positive message can be heard over hard hitting beats, such as “Hunger” produced by CorMIll featuring Liberian artist GAB or through his freestyle over the Lox’s Money Power Respect instrumental. Songs such as “Major FIggas” also uplift listeners, encouraging them to work as a team to achieve the same possible end goal. “Winter VybeZ” is a song about a season most folks dread, but ABwonderZ spits about the positive benefits of the season over a beat produced by ill.
