Jaxson Keys first gained his affinity for electronic music on the grimy snow-covered streets of Reno, Nevada where he was born and raised. As a wee lad he began sneaking his way into underground warehouse parties, where he was first baptized by the holy water of silky smooth bass and the pulsating 4 to the floor rhythms of mothafuckin house baby! 

Jaxson spent his college years in the Pacific Northwest, a world capital of digital design and creative exploration, where he spent his time studying new musical ideas and soaking in the sounds of a completely unique electronic music culture. 

Between the sweat infused warehouse walls of Reno and the roaring 808s of the PNW, Jaxson’s experiences in the underground electronic music scene has undoubtedly inspired the fusion of thundering baselines, vibrant leads, and soulful vocals that run through the pulsing veins of his music today. 

Mr. Keys has since relocated himself to good Ol’ Los Angeles. Todays mecca’s of electronic exploration. You can regularly find him in the kitchen cooking up some sauce..... some saucy beats for your ears.

Chiwe was born in 1981 in Rijeka (Croatia).. His musical style is unique and distinctive.. Soulful vocal-house and garage with elements of disco, deep and latin house, depending of the audience feedback from the dance floor.. Known as a DJ who uses 3 or 4 players in performances with a bunch of vocal accapelas which creates a unique powerfull mix..

Songbird RubyGold is probably the number one reason for you losing your moral boundaries on the dance floor and partying until sunrise in the last five years.
Born Carla Mariza Claasen, the songtress is half Portuguese and half Coloured. She was raised by her maternal grandmother and her stage name is an homage to her late mother.

"My mom passed away when I was six. She had been my pillar. When she passed away, she took a part of me with her. To remember her she had left me a ring that was gold and had rubies on it. So I named myself in remembrance of my mom and the ring," RubyGold recalls.

RubyGold rose to fame among house music lovers first with the 2010 Monotone hit Invitation to Dance and then the 2011 Revolution banger Teka Munike.

Renowned for her silky afro, raspy pipes and sultry Portuguese lyricism, RubyGold jokingly mentions that for a song with such a strong female empowerment message about inner strength, people seem to mainly act ratchet every time Teka Munike comes up. Who can blame them with such a whining up-tempo beat backing-up RubyGold's sassy proclamation?

"Teka Munike means 'give and take'. And I'm speaking about the dance [laughs]. It's a female empowering anthem. But because it's in Portuguese, for some reason people seem to want to 'lahlumlenze' every time the song drops," RubyGold quips.

 "In a nutshell, in today's world men often feel entitled to a woman when she is looking gorgeous and all of a sudden he seem to want to grab her and take her home by force. The song is taking a stance against that. How is she going to learn self respect, if you are disrespecting her? You can appreciate her beauty without getting aggressive."

Trance Jazz
What makes RubyGold such a precious gem is that she has coined a whole genre to best suit her unique sound. She has dubbed it Trance Jazz – blending all the genre she has delved into throughout her underground tenure. Fans will have a full taste of her Trance Jazz sound when she at last releases her debut album later in the year. She teases that she will be singing mostly in English on the record to best connect with her fan-base. The first single from the forthcoming album is In The City, a colourful pop thrust celebrating the beauty of the City of Johannesburg.

 "My sound is a fusion of a lot of genres coming together as one. Jazz, House, Hip Hip, Disco and all of them fused into one. It's called Trance Jazz. It's a sound that I created because coming from an underground point of music I felt like that was more who I am. I was able to sing in a way that played with my voice. It sounded peculiar. That always makes you go 'is that a bird? Is that a voice?'," RubyGold explains.

 "I felt like that element had to be taken into the commercial side of thing, I felt like there was a beauty that was being missed by the commercial side. So I took all those sounds that everyone know and I made them into one. I called it Trance Jazz because it makes you drift into a dreamy feeling."

Australia's Messrs create a synth-laden sound that encapsulates nearly three decades of indie-pop. Using the industrial beats of new wave-era Depeche Mode as a launch pad, Messrs touch on early 90s Pulp-inspired house, all the way up to their modern take on all that has come before. Their debut EP Welcome To Nowhere, with it's silky sax and pulsing beat, will put a smile on the face of anyone who has ever set foot on the dance floor in the last thirty years, but will also resonate as something startling fresh and original. 

Messrs' story officially begins in 2011, but their heritage goes way back. Having played together in various musical incarnations for years, the band's five members - Josh Moore (Vox), Justin Walker (Guitar), Chad Hooper (Drums) and brothers Craig and Shane Lock on bass and synth respectively - took a long time to find their sound. 

Eschewing the skittish, scatty indie punk stylings of their early days, Messrs re-emerged a much more honed and focused unit in 2011. Their new sound rekindled the effortless grooves of Cut Copy, the washed out vocals of '80s new wave and the punchy, retro-tinged disco beats of the 21st Century. 

Having toured extensively, playing festivals such as The Great Escape (UK), The Big Day Out (AUS) and Parklife (AUS) and supporting the likes of Phoenix, Neon Indian and Kele, Messrs released their debut EP in late 2012. Welcome To Nowhere dropped last November to immediate acclaim, reaching the Top 40 in the Australian iTunes Albums Chart. The single "Desert" also made a massive impact, racking up nearly 70,000 Vimeo views to date. 

With ripples slowly growing into waves back home, Messrs have world domination in their sights. Welcome To Nowhere is currently on rotation on more than 100 radio stations in the US and is finding its way into several CMJ charts (WUMD-2, KXUA, KMSC, WZBC etc). It's an exciting time for a band that just a few years ago didn't have an identity.

Originally from Hong Kong, Dan Cin is a Portland-based DJ with a lifelong love of Hip-Hop and electronic music. Playing and producing everything from House and Drum-n-bass to Dubstep and Trap he is always bass-centric with added Hip-hop beats and shuffled grooves. A newcomer to the Portland scene, Cin has nevertheless made a mark as a resident of one of the largest weekly parties in Pdx, “See You Next Tuesday”.
