Rebirth is an EP with 2 tracks - War on Acid is a remake of a track i created in 1996.

Both tracks are originally created in Rebirth 2.0 by Popellerhead. Rebirth is a software product to create the genuine cid sound. It sounds better than the original Roland303 (!!!)(yes it does) A few years ago Propellerheads were forced by Roland company to take the software offline. But he who seeks can still download and install the program with some tricks. If you need more info - contact me.

This is a remaster of an old track that supposed to be on this album "ancestors calling" too. I do not know the exact genre for this so I call it new wave techno. Because I grew up with new wave and post punk rock bands. The text is from Toth, the Atlantean, emeral tablets - creation of the universe... Brought to you by my daughter...

4th track on the album "Ancestors Calling" has a simple Spanish chords flow. The idea came while sampling a snare from the Comsat Angels debut album "Sleep no more". The drums on that album are very nice mixed/mastered. I could not really reproduce it alas, but I still think it sounds good.

I finished another remix, Avalon & DJ Tristan's tune 'We are Psychedelic'!

The process was an interesting one, from the beginning I felt like I could write in a style that could be more appealing to the NANO RECORDS style so that I'd have more of a chance at coming out with recognition, but I decided to move against that and make something that was more suited to the style I want to express and explore at the moment. 

What I've ended up with is a Progressive Psytrance track, which is similar in style to the Ritmo Remix up on my Soundcloud. 
I've been experimenting with Triplet timing to create rhythmic variation across the track and to break the mould of what was becoming a rigid and default sound - it's ended up working very well.

It's a curious journey to be creative inside the box of a genre, as you obviously have some very strict rules you abide by to fall within a group... how to come out sounding unique here is a constant challenge, one that I'm still grappling with - I'm very aware that I don't want to sound typically Psytrance, but also admit that I'm actively deciding to make 'Psytrance' which is maybe some kind of paradox?
