Room 4 Jazz spielen Jazz für jeden Anlass. Als Studenten der renommierten Dresdener Hochschule für Musik "Carl Maria von Weber" überzeugen die vier jungen Musiker nicht nur durch ihre handwerkliche Professionalität, sondern auch durch die Leichtigkeit und Frische, mit der sie den Swing der 30er, den Bossa Nova Brasiliens oder emotionale Soul-Klassiker ins 21. Jahrhundert übersetzen.

Egal ob auf Cocktailempfängen, Hochzeiten, Firmenfeiern oder eben als exquisites Jazzkonzert - Room 4 Jazz transportieren eine einzigartige Atmosphäre in der Besetzung einer klassischen Jazzband: Gesang, Piano, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug. Mal andächtig wie Regentropfen an ihrem Fenster, mal swingend bis kein Fuss mehr still stehen kann und schließlich tief emotional und bluesy - die Band ist stets mit allen Sinnen bei ihrem Publikum. Eingefleischte Jazzfans sind davon ebenso gefesselt wie stille Zuhörer, die eine entspannte Atmosphäre und leichte Unterhaltung schätzen.

If you've ever wondered what kind of music an electrical engineer with a background in music theory would make given the chance, here it is. Catchy, simple, and hopefully elegant on its face, but complex and experimental in the under-layers.

I try as much as I can to create a visual landscape with the sound palette and the effects. I hope it lures you to lose yourself in it for a moment so that you can see the rumbling grounds against the endless skies that I try to convey.
