It is a clear violation of the commandment "Do not take the Lord's name in vain" to use his name to justify intolerance, bigotry, and prejudice toward another person.  Others may use their manifestos to justify their behavior, but the Christian (and others as well) have only one mandate and that is to love.

For an aggressive violent species we seem to have great unreasonable fear of anything that looks different than us. We seem to lack the self confidence/insight/character to ask questions first and attack later.
We should embrace difference, seek facts, trust ourselves and others
