From Boston to Baghdad, Tokyo to Toronto, The United States Army Field Band has been thrilling audiences of all ages for more than 65 years. As the premier touring musical representative of the United States Army, this internationally-acclaimed organization travels thousands of miles each year, telling the Army story and honoring American Soldiers and Veterans at home and abroad. Through its world-class concerts, the Army Field Band fosters the support of the American people for the Armed Forces and supports diplomatic efforts around the
world.

Since its formation in March 1946, the Army Field Band has appeared in all fifty states and in more than thirty countries on four continents. The organization’s four performing
components—the Concert Band, Soldiers’ Chorus, Jazz Ambassadors, and The Volunteers—each travel more than 100 days annually. Tours include formal concerts, school assemblies, chamber recitals, educational clinics, festivals, and radio and television appearances.

The United States Army Field Band is considered by music critics to be one of the most versatile and inspiring musical organizations in the world. Its members, selected by highly
competitive audition, represent some of the finest musical talent in America. More than 65 years as the United States military’s most traveled musicians have earned the Army Field Band the title “The Musical Ambassadors of the Army.”

Flag Steward, formerly known as Beacon of Honor - Awakens Our Flag, a patriotic nonprofit project started by Miss Wheeler's 6th grade class and a Veteran, builds better citizens by making the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem more meaningful and purposeful.

Launched in January 2011 by Bloomberg Radio, “Bloomberg EDU,” was the only national radio program devoted solely to covering education in America. Hosted by education advocate and journalist Jane Stoddard Williams, “Bloomberg EDU” explored the intersection of public policy, philanthropy and public and private sector investment in the national education debate through lively discussion with high-profile guests. The show culminated on March 14, 2015.

Since December of 2000, Relevant Radio has been helping people bridge the gap between faith and everyday life through informative, entertaining, and interactive programming twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Two Teachers and a Microphone are dedicated to preserving public education in the United States. We acknowledge that there are many areas in which our schools need improvement, particularly when it comes to a lack of resources, personnel and a rich curriculum that includes arts education, civics and cultural studies. We refuse to allow politicians and bureaucrats to blame our nation's teachers for the problems that exist in our schools, or for the problems that exist outside of our schools that impact our students on a daily basis.

If you’re looking for someone to tell you how they think you should vote or feel about a particular issue, there are thousands of shows, YouTube videos and Facebook pages that you could turn to. But what I’ve found is that in this age of instant technology and partisan bickering, it all blends into noise. For most of the people who yell at us from a television studio about whatever inflammatory topic is in the news that day, their driving ulterior motive is to make themselves more money and more famous. I genuinely don’t believe their goal is to educate and inform.
That’s why I’m here. I have a deep love for civics. Let me say that again – a deep love for civics, not politics. Civics is the study of the rights and duties of citizenship. What it means to be part of a society. Remember all that stuff you had to read about in ninth grade and promptly forgot most of it the following summer? Well, what I’ve found is that when people aren’t comfortable with those fundamentals and don’t see how they relate to their day-to-day lives, it’s so easy to just shut out the noise altogether. My goal is to get back to those fundamentals in a non-partisan, informative way.
