I went with Lily Makes Sounds' "empathy factor" which really captivated me. I did just a bit of layering and then added parts of an interview with Emily Haines from the band Metric, whose voice, whether singing or speaking, I really love. In the background, I added some ambient drones from my trusty Terra and a bit of reverb here and there.
