The set I played in our final showcase event in Soho House Berlin <3 I tried to show a different part of myself here, telling a story using soulful tunes. Turned out to be a very chill set you can listen to when you need comfort.

Soho House Berlin Chill Set

This is the set I played for the Abschluss Event of TLNT&TLNT Mentorship program. I want to thank everyone for vibing to this set & to TLNT&TLNT for allowing me a chance to play tunes from artists and producers I admire. A DJ set in its is essence fun and letting loose to the rhythm away from our worries but it can also be an act of resistance. Playing tunes from immigrants who are in exile due to their political stance against a fascist government, admirable women changing the game and re-defining the standards put onto us by the patriarchy, tunes from languages that are trying to be demonized by the West and so many more. 
Sometimes, especially these days it feels like I’ve left a fascist country only to end up in another with languages being banned, brutal police force used against the protesters who are supporting the right to live freely of the oppressed while the far right just holds protests without any. But when i see and exist in spaces like this I see that we are all very beautiful with our own differences and the value we bring to the countries we live in. 
Indigenous land belongs to indigenous people, no government can ban any language or culture, and us Ausländers will stay and continue to elevate the countries we are living in, and i hope this set gave that impression.

It's a little underbaked in the mixing and mastering department. I lost the project file unexpectedly, and I'd rather move on to new ideas instead of spending ages trying to recreate this one. That said, I'm happy with how it turned out despite the lack of finishing touches, so I thought I'd upload it to provide a little preview of the musical direction I'm taking.
