The Story of this Recording:

I wrote this song in late-2012, recorded it in 2013, and then set it aside without ever releasing it. While I was recording new songs this Summer (2015), I rediscovered this this track sitting on the shelves. Like finding a long lost crystal - I felt it's power, magic, shine, radiance, and relevance. It spoke to me - and asked to be released for those who need it at this time.

This song is all about relaxing into a greater sense of freedom in yourself. It's about claiming your authentic power - with dignity. It's about knowing your infinite potential, living your dreams, and sharing your gifts with absolute trust. And it's about coming together and creating community as empowered and energized beings holding a shared dream.

I'd like to express that just as I have grown so much since 2013, so has my sound and the songs I'm writing and recording now.

Something really special about this recording is that I actually played all instruments (except for a couple background synths) acoustically in the studio - in real time, in real space.

I say this, because now-a-days, I'm producing my new songs with electronic bass and drums.. which has a very different sound and a magic of it's own... and has also given me a new appreciation for the journey of what it takes to play and record acoustic instruments.
