Questo caleidoscopico album, fatto di pezzetti di vetro colorati e movimento continuo, racconta una storia: la mia storia musicale. Le canzoni che ho ascoltato mi hanno attraversato, lasciandosi filtrare ed ispirando il mio modo di scrivere e fare musica. Così è sempre stato, ma questo album nasce proprio per mettere a fuoco questo processo, naturale come quando la musica ci prende e ci porta via. A strattoni o cullandoti fino al bordo della consapevolezza.
Alcune canzoni affondano le mani nell'acqua lucida e profumata degli anni Sessanta...il tempo dei "complessi" beat e delle cover in italiano dei successi stranieri...anni sfacciati e bellissimi, sfumati nel pop/rock degli anni '70, quando le improvvisazioni strumentali ti trascinavano in viaggi e fantasie psichedeliche, senza punti di riferimento stabili, un po' a testa in giù e con i capelli lunghi spettinati.
Poi sentirai canzoni che ti accompagnano nel colorato mondo flower power, imbevuto di visioni e sogni ad occhi aperti, come in una nuvola di fumo che porta lontano, traghettandoci fino alla fine degli anni '70, quelli della meditazione, della filosofia che viaggia su binari non più paralleli, ma divergenti. Canzoni disposte a vortice, ricche di incubazioni elettroniche, che provengono dritte dall'immaginario della teutonica schiera di fieri esploratori stellari: l'ho sentito tutto lo sperimentalismo degli anni 80 ed i suoi rivolgimento nell'electro, che fanno ballare ed io sì che ho ballato!
Zoppica sorridendo un sincopato ritmo cyborg-reggae: ricorda le ispirazioni pseudo giamaicane di altri artisti, che hanno come dragato quel tipo di essenza. Ma questo è il mio disco ed io d'un balzo torno al tempo dei cantautori, vado a raccontare storie e poesie di uomini e cose. Posso fare quello che voglio. E' il disco mio. E anche tuo.

This kaleidoscopic album is made of up pieces of coloured glass that continually move round which basically represent my musical history.  The songs which I have listened to during my life have been filtered and inspired me to write the songs for this album.
Some songs take us back to the 60’s with the beat generation and flower power, followed by the  pop rock of the 70’s with its psychedellic intrumental music. The 80’s saw electro pop dance music and a cyborg reggae rhythm inspired by Jamaican artists. Also included in the album are some Italian folk songs.
I have created what I wanted to, but, this is not only my album it is also yours!
