Room At The Top

A lively night at The Brunswick in Brighton last week captured on a mobile phone.  Three generations on stage, Yali, six years old, on bell, Yaron, his dad, on drums, me, his 'grandude', on vocals and keys, also featuring Hamish Livingstone on  the righteous upright bass  and Chris Carpenter on 'Bone',

He Only Delivers The Box (Live)

This is a song I threw together on the bass and keys, and my friend Tez put down the guitar. I really like the result. He's a very talented musician, who knows how to add dynamic energy to any song. Originally, I conceived this as a funk tune, but it got less funky and more straightforward as I worked it. Hope you enjoy our efforts. 

Take it Out (with Llanpsych)

This is a song by one of my favorite bands that, believe it or not, Chris suggested we do. I really feel like we're kindred musical spirits. His playing on this and his voice are excellent as always. He's on acoustic guitar and the high vocals on this one. He also mixed, produced, and arranged the song. You'll hear me on the bass, synth, slide, mandolin, and auxiliary guitar, as well as singing the two low parts. We decided to do a string of covers back in the summer. If you've taken the time to read this, then please throw out some suggestions in the comments for our next one (or the one after that).

Truly an honor once again to feature Jorg Joerxworx on track.  He always seem to have the missing piece to the puzzle.  Recently sent him a request asking him to do his thing on this track, and man did he deliver.
