A special compilation for another anniversary of the @oberwave label. As always, we present all facets of dark and sensual music: from dark disco and new wave to new beat and body music. As always, we bring together producers from all over the world: from Russia and Italy to Mexico and Indonesia. Do you want something gentle, like the 80s spirit? You are welcome. PREMIERE: Xerosorex - Le Devoreur De Monde [ OBERWAVE ]

Rambal Cochet (aka St Petersberg’s Konstantyn Isaev aka Volta Cab) lands on Wrong Era with four electronic snapshots suited to the more robust dancefloor. Opener,Leptis Magna, builds and twists through subtle plateaus’ towards a storm of climactic strings that clear to reveal momentary elation. Elation becomes soundtrack suspense on Fabrizio Mammarella’s remix, stripping back the parameters (while bringing the rhythm to the fore), resulting in a driving, tunnel trancer. Enter The Infinite is a steady builder; each tweak charming you towards twilight’s dancing silhouettes. Cyrillic balearic vocal’s melodise The Hidden Magenta, which locks you in it’s groove’s exotic, growing, immediacy.

From Czech Republic we welcome Ondřej Kulatý, aka Andreas Rund. Prolific producer who has released material on labels such as NEIN, Esthetique, Espacio Cielo and Mélopée, to name a few. His distinctive dark style ranges somewhere between hypnotic melodies,energetic beats and powerful basslines, everything that we like here at HEARec.

For our release number 50 we are very happy to deliver you a sinister Dark Disco proposal.

HEAR0050 - ‘Red Eye EP’ is composed by two original tracks - Red Eye, and Hold Your Breath- and two remixes by A-Tweed and Azari.

Ombra International continues the legacy of inviting artists each from a different country, to share their mutual love for the wave and acid tinged spectrum of dark club music. Finnish- Berlin - based OBI BLANCHE makes his Ombra INTL Debut with a powerful kraut-punk acid tinged jam channeling his roots in the guitar and fringe electronic
scenes as a staple member for years in the Anika band, as well as Thomas Azier. From Palawan was partly produced in the heart of the Loatian mountains, with samples found during Mura Mura‘s last roadtrip in South East Asia. Back in Lyon, his moog and his guitar we do the rest.“
French Dark Italo-tech prince, BACK FROM THE WAVE conjures an emotional ride for the strobe filled dance floors and Tokyo‘s prolific QUE SAKAMOTO joins forces with his friend NT to bring us a sludged out electro banger. Lyon‘s MURA MURA makes his Ombra debut as well, takes us on a slow and funky hypnotic journey with a song
composed in the Loatian Mountains with samples from his last trip in South East Asia.
Last but not least, the mysterious Naples-based Dark Wave screamo band bring a 136 bpm post punk infused anthem for the end of days.

For his first solo EP, Tushen Raï designed a record in the form of a colorful patchwork of sounds, a meticulous collage of samples, surrounding noises and synthesizers. Here, Maori percussion dug on field recording discs from the late 60s and 70s meet Indonesian chants recorded on phones and posted anonymously online. A nostalgic yet deeply contemporary testimony to an imagination weakened resulting from the cultural globalization. 

With "Drums Circles", Tushen Raï wants to reconnect with the adventure novels, from Jules Vernes to Barjavel, which nourished his childhood. Thought out as an ode to the diversity of our cultures, our practices and our beliefs, "Drums Circles" is a cry in favor of open-mindedness and curiosity. It is an invitation to discovery rather than to conquest. 

A humble invitation to embark on a journey and to collective trance.

Ignacio Crisóstomo a.k.a Ordinariess, selector musical y miembro de nuestra crew. Este set es un vistazo al vaivén emocional-musical de Ordinaress, donde cada track está enlazado a un paraje de sentimientos o situaciones cotidianas del día a día. Al fin y al cabo la música que unx escucha es el reflejo de lo que llevamos dentro. Este selector no se encasilla en un género específico a la hora de mezclar, por lo tanto las confluencias de estilos se hacen notar en el set. Electro, Techno, Breakbeat y texturas melódicas con algunos parajes hip-hop conforman esta selecta. Sin más preámbulos presentamos el segundo set de nuestro podcast.

GAËL ha estado conectado al circuito de la música underground de Bogotá desde el año 2012. Es co-fundador del sello  discográfico Pildoras Tapes. 

Su estilo musical explora elementos eléctricos, oscuros y nostálgicos, sobrevolando los años 80, componiendo un viaje lúdico y surrealista compuesto generalmente por New Wave, Electro, New Beat, Italo Disco, Darkwave, Mininal Synth, EBM y Post Punk
