Hello Again… I’m ready to share my latest work titled:

“The one you’re with (crystal clear)”

This is the second chapter of a three-part musical homage inspired by the life and legacy of my late beloved grandfather… 

It is a heartfelt love song about destiny, finding light, and embracing the present moment…

After my eighteenth birthday as I was preparing to leave home for U.S. Military service… my grandfather sat me down and said: “wherever you go and whatever you do, love the one you’re with!” 

See my grandfather was big on privacy and never got too personal with me… he was also big on commitment… in that, this project is about finding that true connection where every glance reveals a shared reflection… 

Growing up in my grandfather’s house he often said: “let go of what’s not here tonight,” reminding us to embrace what’s real and let go of what’s not… which I was able to capture in the lines of pre-chorus… 

The line “what we got is crystal clear” is reiterated throughout the track; seeing as how he believed that true love is crystal clear and found right where we are… 

You are invited to embrace the beauty of now; love that feels right is crystal clear…  My grandfather promoted the profound connection found in simply being together, and this song celebrates that…

For the beat I created a slowed down pop-rock arrangement… I hope you like it. Thanks for listening and more to come…

Another month, another 125min of proper red room vibes. My favorite set so far this year, tried to keep it minimal with the percs as I could, and gave 100% focus on eerie background textures. All in all a vey carefully currated set.
