Deep in the musical underground of Scotland’s capital city, a DJ goes quietly about his business, building mixes of selected oddities discovered during explorations in the worlds of breaks, house, acid, dub and beats. From this collection of warped harmonies, something slowly grows…no-one is quite sure what, but what is certain is that it will infect all who listen. 

This mix starts with warped and wonky downtempo, twists its way through dark acidy electro and climaxes with bassy dnb-inspired breaks. 

HOWiE is half of Bound In Sound and a collector of broken beats and bass-heavy curiosities. He can be regularly located playing at Edinburgh’s Mash House and Pitt Market, or monthly on Cowbell Radio.
