"O Dear God you are the soul support of my being, 
I bow in humility completely and offer myself 
to you in reverence innumerable times.
Standing up, sitting down, sleeping and while awake, 
my heart/mind remembers you only. 
Happiness and sorrow are states of this mind/heart,
I present/surrender these in front of you.
You are my shelter, support, power, intellect and wealth.
You are my family. 
Whatever you do is for my good.
I gaze (surrender) upon your feet for eternal bliss". 

Reciting this Shabad soothens the mind and brings the being in Sehaj 
 or calm state for communion with God.
