Two years ago, Ben sent me a sample of this song. We always knew it was special, but for some reason it just sort of sat there in the pile of, “I’m not ready for that yet”. My life was in the middle of a story that I didn’t know how to tell, and I think I knew that I needed to get through it before I could even think about finding the words and phrases to piece it all together in a way that made sense. Two years later, ‘Nirvana’ is complete, and I am so proud of the story that it tells.
