Sequoia is a new Latin/jazz quintet. We consist of:-
Simonne Dale on vocals
Mark Parkinson on flute
Marcus Schofield on piano 
Pablo Sonnaillon on bass
Jonny Dale on drums

We are a group of jazz musicians who play selected standards and also feature Latin flavoured tunes. Simonne sings in Spanish and Brazilian apart from English. We have all played jazz for many years but want to focus our attention on a fairly authentic Latin style. 
Apart from jazz we all have a varied background of genres which enables us to play with a very refreshing feel. The flute, which replaces the usual tenor sax gives a light and crisp sound at the same time as being driving and rhythmic.
