  You wake up one day, and decide to turn over a new sweet leaf. The first thing you are gonna stop swearing. (Yeah, right.) All the while you're trying to bullet-proof your Zen, people just keep doing stupid sh*t. Everywhere you look. Man gets tired of turnin' over every stone. "F*cking nuts," you say out loud. Still, your leaf must be turned. You have an idea. In your backyard, in the shed, right next to the weed whacker, you have a rocket-ship. It's small, but it's all rocket. You decide to go for a ride. Bad news. You misplaced your rocket-ship...to make matters worse, you dreamed last night that a monkey stole your rocket-ship. "Too f*ckin' bad again," you say aloud to no one in particular. You're starting to feel like maybe you've lost your way. "It's gonna be a long, long, motherf*ckin' day," you say to a pair of crows, cawing in the street, dining on some fresh roadkill. F*ckin' crows, you think. Scavengers. They eat dead meat. You scratch your head. What the holy f*ck.
   You think about your plan. No, not that plan, the other one. You open the garage, thumb up the Fatboy. You pull out of your driveway and have to slam your boot down on the f*cking foot brake. Some Generation Butterfly dude is riding an electric bike down the street, right past your driveway. "How f*cking stupid are you, man?," you yell to the dude, who does not hear you, because he has ipod airs stuffed into his ears. Probably listening to Brittneyf*ckingSpears, the little as*wipe. You wanna...ahh, forget it. You're not a violent person. You shut off your ride. You need a new plan.
   You wonder about tomorrow. You wonder why it never comes today. You think about someone...anyone, to blame. Bigger questions are begging to riddle you. What is it you're looking for again? A new leaf, that's right. 
   You're tired, f*ckin' toast. You go to your mailbox, and open it. It's all for you...a life insurance sales pitch, a funeral expense warning..."Don't let your loved ones bear the burden of your funeral costs." You're like, "F*ck, man, really?" A credit card offer with a $500 annual fee at 39.9999% interest. That's f*cking Mob interest, you think. Sh*t. F*ck. Motherf*cker. "New leafs are for new days," you say, and you raise your middle finger to the sky. You probably wanna stop doing that as well.
      As you are walking back into your house, a bolt of lightning slams down right in front of you, out of a clear blue sky, causing you to fall to the ground. A yellow maple leaf falls lazily into your hand. There are no trees in your yard. There are no Elves. You look at the leaf...you blink, and then...you are sitting in the Lotus position, on a magic carpet high above the Himalayas, on the Himalayan Astral Plane. Confucius, warm and comfortable, smiles and hands you his pipe. He tells you that he's been waiting for you. You look at the leaf, then to Confucius, then to his smoldering pipe. You start to say, "What the f*....," but before you can speak, Confucius looks at you, waves his hand across his body, and puts his index finger to his pursed lips. Confucius say, "Shhh." You never swear again.
