"Nightmares In My Dreams" is a song Mandy and I (JJVince) wrote around Oktober/November of 2019
but for the start of the story we have to go back about a year in time.
I experienced feelings that go far beyond lonely, empty and seeing no point in 'trying' anymore, 
even when I tried to have fun like going to a party. My mind haunted me wherever I went and it felt like nobody understood. 
But during the time we wrote this song I wasn't fighting with myself as much as before and I began notice that I wasn't alone.
I started to talk other people who were experiencing the same feelings and so I heard a lot of story's.

The song is like a conversation 
between me and this girl at a party who is currently experiencing what many others experience.
And as much as her nightmares interfere with the dreams she has. 
I want her and you to know that it's okay to feel like this and that it's okay to say that you're not fine, 
just never let go of your dreams in life. 
Because when you let go, all there is left, is the nightmare.
