The Swiss mad beat scientist PulpFusion, starts out as a guitar player in a few local bands over 20 years ago. But the love for producing and mixing groove ‘n funk rooted music, make him decide to take the turntable path. Looking for a personal style, he writes, plays and produces his own music that finds it’s way to the audience during intensive gigs and concerts all over Switzerland.
The sound of PulFusion gets the attention from other artists, asking him to produce and (re)mix their songs. This resolves in various international collaborations.
In 2007 he decides to come up with the record-label ‘Pig Balls Records’, originally intended to release his own mix of groove, trip-hop, soul, funk ‘n jazz beats. But with several number 1 charts at Junodownload in no time, other artists quickly find their way to the Pig Balls Label.
And yet, there’s still a hunger for more… DJ PulpFusion launches a second label named ‘Booty Pirates’ to release a few heavy weight remixes and mash-ups. Every single release makes it to the number 1 position in the charts of Junodownload and other internet sites.
 
Anno 2011, PulpFusion is well known in the international Funk and Breaks scene as a producer, but the heart still belongs to the stage! Harald Boyesen is an Amsterdam-based live act emerging from crooked alleyways to international renown. Supported by Mary Ann Hobbs on BBC Radio, Paco Osuna, Funk D'void and many more, his vision on the dance floor spans genres of house, techno, and breakbeats utilizing colorful vocal edits floating above tough grooves.
