Walk Between Raindrops

I am a Nashville-based pedal steel, lap steel and dobro player (1991-present).

I started playing in local and regional bands in the northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania areas in the late ‘70s-‘80s. Upon the urging of my future wife Darlene, I came to Nashville to audition for the pedal steel seat for Aaron Tippin, whom I worked for through the ‘90s. Other artists that I have worked for include David Kersh, Jessica Andrews, Colt Prather, Michael Peterson, Jason Byrd, Lee Ann Womack, Rodney Atkins, Mo Pitney, Joe Diffie, Hope Cassity and John Riggins.

Some of the artists that I have recorded with include The Payne Family, Tammy Cochran, Aaron Tippin, Suzanne Karr, Shawn Byrne, John Riggins, Suzanne Mumpower, Andrew Wolfe, Peter Vroman, Robynn Shane, Matt Farley, Glen Wagner, Tecia McKenna, Ashley Sillay and Nuke Bushner. I also recorded Sony label demos for songwriter Jim Beavers in the late 2000s.

I live happily at home with my dog Sophie and two cat sisters, Pixie and Dixie. I am available for touring, recording (in-studio or overdubs from home, live band gigging and one-on-one teaching (in-person or online).
