I am writing songs about old age that together will form an album about this theme. This song is about Parkinson's disease. Many people are familiar with the external (physical) symptoms of this disease, the psychological symptoms are less known. 'Into the Wings' is about what Parkinson's does to the brain, briefly summarized as 'stuttering' of thoughts. The lyrics are based on the experience of my good friend Henk, who has Parkinson's.
