There's only one obvious thing in the sound of Neelix: Relentless forward boost. Exactly how this boost is generated is not obvious at all – which makes it catchy in the most subliminal way possible. The German artist playfully incorporates elements of Progressive Trance, Progressive House and Electro. However, the actual magic of Neelix happens somewhere inbetween those genres. For 10 years already this unique formula made him a crowd-pleaser at a great variety of dance events on all 5 continents, including monumental festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland or Boom.

It's 2005 when Neelix stirs a revolution. His album 'No Way To Leave' fulfills all the expectations of the dance floor – but it does so in the most unexpected way. Within no time, party goers refer to his highly dynamic hybrid style simply as 'Neelix sound'. It's the beginning of a stellar career that keeps building and building – just like a typical Neelix track itself. During the last decade, the music of Neelix has inspired a whole generation of producers, it can be found in the collections of countless DJ, in film productions, and in the catalogues of prestigious labels like for instance SpinTwist Records or Paul Oakenfold’s legendary Perfecto imprint.

AL075 - Twist and Bend it EP out now on Arms & Legs


Berlin producer Harry Axt entered the club fray with a succession of EPs on Jan Driver's Grand Petrol Recordings nearly a decade ago. Over the ensuing years, Axt’s stature has grown as he’s released on renowned labels such as Leftroom, Snork Enterprises, Overdrive and AFU Limited. Dropping a split 12" with Siriusmo on the aforementioned Grand Petrol, 

Axt has  remixed luminaries like Christopher Just, Broombeck, The Horrorist and Miro Pajic. More recently reworking classic rave anthems by Yves de Ruyter and Cherry Moon Trax on fabled Belgian techno bastion Bonzai Records. 

Axt’s bourgeoning discography piqued the interest of many of the foremost figures in electronic music. Harry Axt cuts have been heavily supported by luminaries such as Adam Beyer, Miss Kittin & Seth Troxler while his track ‘Deliberately Selected’ featured on Hot Chip’s Bugged Out compilation. 

This isn’t monotonous militant techno but rather techno bursting with genuine charisma. Deceptively subtle and immediately engaging,

Musik fühlen und leben wie sie ist darum geht es und aus ihr als DJ das noch rauszuholen was sie zum tollen Wahnsinn macht und dies mit seinen Gästen und Zuhörern so teilt das sie das spüren und erleben was der DJ selber dafür empfindet das ist die Kunst. Mixen kann  Digital fast jeder heutzutage, aber das dann auch zu einem
 positiven Werkzeug zu machen das können nicht viele! Nur das wahre Gefühl für die Musik macht es aus was man da auf der Bühne schafft für die Musikkonsumenten die es verdient haben einen magischen Moment dabei zu haben! 

Ich könnte ohne Musik nicht einen Tag überleben in dieser immer kälter werdenden Welt.
