Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, a few years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

Four Points are a London-based production collective behind the label ‘Engage Audio’. Inspired by producers and DJ’s from across the Drum and Bass spectrum, their production style is influenced by many of the versatile heavyweights such as SPY,  Spectrasoul, Alix Perez and Ivy Lab. Their ethos is similar to that of their label - underground drum and bass with soul and substance. You can currently catch them DJ’ing at their monthly residency at ‘Ouse’ in Birmingham and London.

SNB026: Truth / Horizon

Four Points - Truth

This is the second half of a recording of my set on the chill stage at Desert Escape in October 2017. The first half is called "Ebb", so this one I called "Flow". There was a natural break in the aesthetic of the music which caused me to want to release them as separate mixes. This mix is a bit more urban and established, with some classic tunes, while the other is grounded in newer styles of music.
