“Beyond the Notes” - Miss Heidi & June - age 11 (improvisational duet)

I wrote the lyric many moons ago and then many moons later invited my wonderful friend (late) Bruno Libert, the gifted Belgium pianist/composer to further develop it with me.  With a basic melody already underway, Bruno created this lovely demo for me.  Bruno and I were both founding members of Esperanto Rock Orchestra (A & M 1973) but never wrote together during those hey days.

„Formen der Dunkelheit“ 
Wer kennt das nicht, die Formen der Dunkelheit die einen umgeben.
Es kann der schönste, und sonnigste Tag sein. Aber es umgibt uns ein Schleier der Dunkelheit den die Außenwelt nicht wahrnimmt. 
Ein Gefühl von Traurigkeit, Einsamkeit und verloren sein.
In diesem spürbaren Moment wo wir das Geschehen um uns herum nicht wahrnehmen, beginnen wir uns doch zu beobachten. In unsere Körperhülle zu schauen und konzentrieren uns auf unser jetziges Dasein.
Dann ist wohl doch diese Form der Dunkelheit ein Kokon der uns umgibt in dem wir wachsen und reifen zu neuen Erkenntnissen ? Ein Erwachen ?

Diesen Moment beschreibt meine Komposition „Formen der Dunkelheit“

"Shapes of Darkness"
Who doesn't know that, the shpes of darkness that surround you.
It can be the most beautiful and sunniest day. But we are surrounded by a veil of darkness that the outside world does not perceive.
A feeling of sadness, loneliness and being lost.
In this noticeable moment when we do not perceive what is happening around us, we start to observe ourselves. To look into our body shell and concentrate on our present existence.
Then this form of darkness is a cocoon that surrounds us, in which we grow and mature to new knowledge? an awakening ?
Our soul begins to breathe.

My composition “Forms of Darkness” describes this moment
