Appearing on Indie Rock Café's list of Best Songs of 2011 and described by critics as a band to watch, Falling Andes is a 3-piece indie pop-rock band formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in late 2010. The group was originally comprised of Dan Peluso (vocals), Jordan Wood (keyboards, electronic drums, and bass), Peter Natishan (drums), and Mike Boyer (guitar). The music of Falling Andes consists of lively pop songs incorporating tight rhythms, harmonious guitars, exuberant keyboards and synths, and distinctive vocals, all packaged in a polished production. It has been described as "catchy" with "easily digestible hooks … with a flavor all their own."
 
The founding members of Falling Andes, Peluso and Wood, released the band’s first single, "San Francisco," in the spring of 2011. The single quickly garnered attention from music blogs, print publications, and college and AAA radio stations. Shortly thereafter, the duo paired with Boyer and drummer Peter Natishan to release the band’s first album, "Frantic," with Dave Hidek at Tree Lady Studios, in Pittsburgh, and began actively touring the Northeast and Midwest United States, playing shows in New York City, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Chicago. In the spring of 2012, Natishan was replaced by drummer Toni Crough. Crough, moved to Los Angeles shortly thereafter and was then replaced by drummer Brian Ganch.  
 
In the summer of 2012, Andes began work on their sophomore album, "Castlevania," at the band's own recording studio, and with Stan Kleja at Audible Images Recording Studios, in Pittsburgh. They finished recording the album in 2013. The album was mixed by Alex Smolinski of Wonder Wonder Sound, in Milwaukee, WI and mastered by MasterDisk's Andy VanDette, in New York, NY. Alex's credits include work on Butch Vig's Emperors of Wyoming, Lola Ray, Gym Class Heroes, and Nada Surf. Andy has mastered work by David Bowie, the Beastie Boys, and Atomic Tom, among others. "Castlevania" was officially released and made available on iTunes, Amazon, and other major retailers on February 25, 2014. 

Falling Andes was on hiatus from 2015-2020 as the lead singer, Dan, went back to school for planetary science and astrophysics and moved to California from Pittsburgh. However, as of December 2020, Falling Andes has new material planned to be recorded and released in mid-2021. Dan will continue to collaborate, write, and record with Falling Andes co-founder, Jordan Wood, but as soon as it is safe again to start a band and play live shows (because of COVID), new members will be added.

Pasquale De Rosa wasborn in Vico Equense,in the province of Naples, Italy 
Driven by his passion, and love for music from his father, Pasquale began his piano lessons at the early age of four, during which time he also learned to read music.
At nine years of age he joined the prestigious music school Liceo Bellini located in the city of Naples.  There he continued his lessons and study of classical music.
At the age of thirteen he held his first piano concert where he performed before an attentive audience interpreting Mozart's Don Giovanni.  Pasquale met with great acclaim from the public, who were impressed by his great personality demonstrated in his interpretation of Mozart's music.
While going forward with the advanced study of classical harmony he approached pop and blues musicand joined a blues band at the age of sixteen, playing the piano and Hammond Organ.  He participated in many festivals and performed in clubs.  Pasquale was noticed for his lively improvisations based on blues phrasing that perfects imitating and he continued studying the tenacious work of pianists Ray Charles, Jimmy Witherspoon and organist Jon Lord.Musical improvisation is the expression that best identifies Pasquale.
He continued to focus his studies with Maestro Francesco Nastro, and approached jazz music by attending the Bourbon Street School in which he perfected improvisation, harmony, the composition and interplay. Also, he continued intensive courses in jazz harmony with the master Michele Di Martino.
Pasquale’s playing is a heterogeneous mixture and at the same time his touch is powerful and romantic.  He also references in his playingthe blues that he perfected during his years studying pianists such as Oscar Peterson,KennyBarron, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, andErrolGarner. 
Among his compositions that have proved most popular include In My Mind, which finds us in a musical environment ballad from the poetic atmosphere and persuasive.
We still remember his other compositions of Latin passion and bossa nova, such as Octopus and A Night in Positano.  He also continues with his exploration of musical compositions with character and funk hard bop, such as Funk for Sabine and Springtime Memories.
Pasquale also explores the modern with The Children Song, Pony 's Dream, Kay 's Smile, Introspection, Pink Paint'voice, Chris's Song, Big Bluff, and being inspired by the legendary Thelonius Monk, his original composition titled LB Blues.
To date, cooperating with famous Italian musicians, he is a composer, arranger and music teacher.

I enjoy writing and producing Trance & Electronic music.

Started out playing guitar at the age of 11......Played in various bands...Rock,Blues mainly.
After hearing Kraftwerk and seeing them live at Brixton academy I really got into all things electronic and have been writing all sorts of electronic music since the mid 80's.
I now write mainly Trance music but as a musician I also write other styles too along with film scores and music for adverts.
