Whether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock ‘n’ roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy live shows reminiscent of stadium rock concerts. In fall 2017, “Campfire Caravan” featuring The Brothers Comatose, Mipso, and The Lil Smokies hosts three of today’s foremost emerging indie Americana bands as they trek across the United States to more than 30 cities. “Campfire Caravan” honors the musicians’ early days playing music, when they’d perform for friends and family in basements, living rooms, and around campfires. “Campfire Caravan” celebrates the American tradition of gathering communities around music.

Following three critically acclaimed full-length studio albums (Songs From The Stoop, Respect The Van, City Painted Gold), the five-piece string band disrupts the traditional album cycle and focuses their 2017/2018 release schedule on a series of strategically released songs. On Sept. 8, 2017, The Brothers Comatose releases a sun-soaked new single “Don’t Make Me Get Up And Go” produced by indie-rock legend John Vanderslice. Channeling harmony vanguards The Beach Boys, “Don’t Make Me Get Up And Go” is a nod to the delicate dance between two friends and trusting fate to either bring them romantically together or not. With lyrics written by the band’s tour manager Joe Pacini, lead singer Ben Morrison lends his crooning baritone to the fast-paced, feel good song.

“Going into the studio with Vanderslice was all about capturing the moment on analog tape,” says Ben. “We set out to record in a way we’ve never previously attempted. We did it live with all of us playing in the same room as if we were performing on stage. Vanderslice really understood the sonic landscape we were going for. He’s really a super producer, being a musician who has cut a lot of records of his own and produced albums by many great artists.”

The Brothers Comatose entered Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone (San Francisco) studio with drafts of “Don’t Make Me Get Up And Go.” After working out the verses and chorus in the studio, bassist Gio Benedetti came up with the three-part harmony bridge. Vanderslice had the trio of Ben, his brother Alex Morrison, and Gio, head into the studio’s echo chamber with its five-second delay, and the boys did what they do best. They sang their hearts out, and the result is sublime.

The Brothers Comatose is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo, vocals), Gio Benedetti (bass, vocals), Philip Brezina (violin), and Ryan Avellone (mandolin). When they’re not headlining The Fillmore for a sold-out show or appearing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, the band is out on the road performing across America, Canada, Australia, and hosting their very own music festival, Comatopia. In 2018, The Brothers Comatose will travel to Asia for a month of cultural music exchange and education with American Music Abroad, a program directed by the State Department.

           Groupe de reggae sénégalais Le BAAY FALL BROTHERS a été créé en novembre 2008 par les deux leads vocaux, auteurs, compositeurs, artistes musiciens : Moussa Fall alias KALAMOULAH et Ambroise K Mendy alias Maréchal Mendy. 

D’influence roots et nuh roots dans le genre musical reggae comme Bob Marley and the Wailers,Peter Tosh, Alpha Blondy, Lucky Dube, Morgan Heritage, Junior Kelly, Sizzla, Antony B, Third World, Luciano, Beres Hammond, Gladiators, Culture… ces deux artistes ; chanteur et sing Jay originaire du nord et du sud du Sénégal bercés par le reggae et conscientisés par le hip hop s’investissent dans le reggae avec des textes trilingues (français, wolof, anglais) dans l’espérance de porter leur voix au-delà des frontières pour l’unité des cœurs et la fraternité des peuples dans la droiture, l’égalité, et l’amour envers son prochain.

Ce groupe qui a pris forme dans les locaux du label Jokko de Babacar Lo, fit sa première apparition sur scène le 2 août 2009 en live lors d’un concert de Thione Seck. Il fut parmi les invités au concert des vingt ans de la Raddoh et a joué la première partie du rappeur Didier Awadi  à la place de l’obélisque. 

Au cour de l’année 2010, précisément  le 11 Mai, il sera parmi les invités du reggeaman Dread Maxim  à Douta Seck 
 à la présentation de son album MUSICAL LIFE  et jouera sa partition au festival mondial des arts nègres(FESMAN) au Cfa de Pikine. En  2011, il présente leur premier single « POLITICIEN » (polititian) au public sénégalais à travers des émissions comme reggae jam sur nostalgie Dakar avec Dj Ox, les Sound-system de la place tel que Dread Family, I&I Sound system, Natty Dread, Global Ling, Intégral Sound System… et l’émission talents d’Afrique sur couleurs tropicales RFI et les télévisons Sénégalaises.

Toujours en quête d’unité de tous les cœurs et la mise en effervescence de l’esprit de fraternité, le Baay Fall Brothers participera ainsi à la compilation NEW ERA volume1(rap,r&b,ragga,reggae) qui sera alors produit par le label 2H MUSIC avant de lancer un autre single « NOCK NOCK» le 24 novembre 2012 dans l’optique d’annoncer les couleurs de l’album qu’il souhaite présenter au public. 
Les vidéos sont disponibles et ont été réalisées avec le soutien de Hazart, Focus et Oracle vison pour le titre « politicien », « NOCK NOCK  » clip réalisé par focus groupe. Après la participation au festival one nation full option qui a eu lieu du 19 au 20 Avril 2014 à Toubab Dialaw à l’école des sables de Germaine Acogny,              le Baay fall brothers présentera le 10 mai 2014 son premier maxi (REGGAE FEVER) une autoproduction de trois(03) titres    accompagné d’un bonus (RISE AGAIN) sorti le 06 décembre 2014.

Born in the beautiful Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, Marc-Harid Montout, better known as DJ Eyedol, is a young, talented, and versatile DJ who is ready to take over the world. With music in his blood, Eyedol grew up with his father, who was a singer and pianist, and started taking piano lessons from an early age.
As he developed a deeper interest in music, Eyedol realized that he had a unique ability to listen to only certain elements of a song, such as beats and different musical elements, which prompted him to pursue a career as a DJ. Inspired by the local artist movement, especially the Wutang Park in his neighborhood, Eyedol's musical influences range from hip hop, reggae to dancehall. His love for these genres shines through in his music, and he has become known for his dynamic and polyvalent sets.
Together with his brother Speyenol, a skilled sound engineer, Eyedol started a music production studio under the record label Awesome Sound Record. The studio focuses on sound recording, producing beats, mixtapes, and video production. 
In addition to this, Eyedol has also won the SXM NRJ DJ AWARDS who made him fly to MONACO & he also Win the NEXT TOP DJ competition on St. Maarten twice, a testament to his skill and dedication to his craft. As he continues to grow and refine his skills, DJ Eyedol is poised to become a household name in the music industry. Keep your eyes and ears open, as this rising star is ready to turn up the place!

Ronald Reagan, Lady Thatcher, and the looming shadow of thermonuclear war may be well behind us, but shimmering, bedroom-poster guitar pop is forever. Hints’ music is the sound of sun-kissed Americans from Texas, Georgia, California, and Massachusetts raised on the soggy greys of ‘80s UK.  

We can't blame anyone for hearing touches of Moz or Roddy Frame in singer Garrett Morin's swooping, plaintive vocals, or The Church’s shimmer in the twin guitar chime, courtesy of lead guitarist Collin Lewis and Morin. The bass and drums have staggered over from the dingier, soot-streaked side of town, with bassist Wyeth Hansen and drummer J. Ellis switching from a hooligan stomp to nimble acrobatics with an auto mechanic's greasy precision.  

Hints began in late 2011, after Garrett and Collin began playing together casually, sketching out the bones of songs that would come to make up Vol I and Vol II. Garrett's art school comrade Wyeth joined in on bass, and J. cemented his position on drums at the beginning of 2014.  

The distinct graphic appeal of the Hints releases come from the four members' lives as active visual artists. Their graphic sensibilities are reflected in the composition of the songs, where odd-shaped ideas and contrasting elements are arranged painstakingly to feel like natural pop songs. And sticky pop songs are the goal.  

Your lovely Story Telling Pop band | heir debut album My Diary contains 13 songs which were written sequentially based on their story telling concept.

The concept was illustrated by Mocca through a girl’s point of view who frequently wrote her daily experiences into a diary.

The album started with a song: ‘Once upon a time’ as an intro, and followed by her first encounter with her secret admirer (song: secret admirer), then after a long hesitation (twist me around, what if) she decided to get steady with the boy (me & my boyfriend). Thus, they caught up in a fight (telephone), got broke up (when the moonlight shine), and in the end they understood that they weren’t meant for each other (Rain will fall, Life keeps on turning).

Every event were signified by different beat according to the girl’s mood. There are waltz, bossanova, rock n roll even 70’s disco beat.
All songs are written in English, therefore most part of the world could understand the lyrics and it’ll alleviate mocca’s way to go international.
In their live performance mocca is also supported by 2 (two) additional players (keyboards and trumpet).
