 Did you know that Atlanta is the largest metro area in the U.S. without an LGBTQ+ Community Center? Currently, the closest center is in Savannah, GA.
While over 200 brick-and-mortar LGBTQ+ centers exist nationwide, Atlanta—one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the country—still doesn’t have one.
Tracee McDaniel believe Atlanta deserve a TLGBQ+ Center and as an Ambassador has been apart of community discussions gaining community input and encouraging participation in the feasibility study.
The study was launched in January of 2025 and residents can participate in the survey through mid-October. It is a one-year exploration into the potential development of an TLGBQ+ Center in the city of Atlanta.
The study is an opportunity for Atlanta's vibrant community to dream big about what a community space would look like in the city.
