In college, Josiah Rosen co-founded the band Augustana. After a few independent recordings and a move from Illinois to California, Augustana signed a recording contract with Epic Records and publishing deal with EMI Los Angeles. Their Epic Records debut went on to nearly certify GOLD and their hit single, “Boston” was RIAA certified PLATINUM.

In 2009, Rosen relocated to Nashville, TN. At the same time, he released an album under the moniker, “The Last Almanac," with the Kansas City based label Curb appeal records.  After a stint of touring, Josiah decided to shift his efforts to songwriting and developing young artists full-time. In the time since he has built an impressive catalog of songs, including cuts on labels such as Warner Bros., S curve, Trauma2/Capitol, Bigger Picture, Warner Nashville, Sony Canada and HYPE among others.

In late 2012 Josiah relocated back to Los Angeles but still travels frequently to Nashville for writing. His main focuses are the Pop, Singer/Songwriter and Country music formats.
