Musician, singer/songwriter Paul Barnes was my guest tonight on Sessions with Sandy, my bi-weekly live music and interview program on WXRW 104.1 FM.  A Milwaukee area musician, Paul has an extensive background in music and writes in styles that vary from dreamy, psychedelic sounds to new wave style music.  He's been writing some new songs during the pandemic, as well as doing a bit of rewriting of old songs.  We talked with Paul and enjoyed some of his original songs live from beautiful Studio B. I was thankful for having two fantastic personalities to interview on the first episode. Both Ray Nitti and Je'Love have become staples in the musical art scene here in Milwaukee. Interviewing them was a dream come true!

Diving deeper into her thoughts on professionalism and her favorite parts of music was insightful to understanding her artistic character.  Super cool to have a star in my interview seat! Her final message to listeners of our convo was to "Keep it consistent." An uplifting answer to my closing question, "What advice do you have for a new artist?"

At about the half way mark i was exuberated to welcome Rayhainio Boynes aka Ray Nitti to the show. We talked about one of his favorite memories his art provided for him, which was a tour he took across seas to perform for our troops.
