I think this was the only cover tune we did back in my band days playing with my great friends Dyniss, Morris, and Alex. Here I take a turn at lead vocals with Dyniss on harmony. This is a ‘live’ version recorded in Dyniss’ studio (I believe in one take), though we performed it live on stage often.
Them wuz some good ol' times.

I keep up with all the latest health and fitness trends every single day
I’m trying really hard to do my best to keep the aging process at bay
Sometimes I get overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice
Taking a break from all this this healthy stuff sure would be nice
I’m buttoned down a bit too tight
I really want to take a bite
Of something that’s not right
And one day I just might
I try to make good food choices when I shop at the grocery store
When I go to a friend’s house I drink one beer, even though I want to drink more
I try to get regular exercise and keep my weight under control
I try not to turn up the volume when I listen to rock and roll
I’m buttoned down a bit too tight
I really want to take a bite
Of something that’s not right
