Now residing in Portland, Justin's music has reached new heights thanks to his releases on SubSensory and Detroit's Bang Tech 12. His productions have garnered support from Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, and Perc.

Bête imaginaire discovered composition through Hip Hop production, collaborating with an MC friend. His curious mind quickly felt a calling for new stylistic endeavors and was struck by a Techno lighting at Rex Club while attending one of its famed Automatik nights in the 2000s. Although spellbound by this music, his love affair had to remain dormant for a few years as ever-growing professional obligations took hold of his life. He has recently managed to resume music-making, invigorated by years of musical dreams and more than ever mesmerized by the limitless possibilities of the Techno language.
