UPDATE 12/09/16:  I have spent the last year updating, finessing, learning new apps, updating my sound libraries, and rethinking, and redoing my workflow. Things are coming along nicely, and there are a few things down the pipe now. My only issue is considering if I want to follow the path of my Conjure One influence or the path of my De/Vision influence, or marry them into one. I'm also looking at film scoring again. What has started to surface is a new sound for myself that I'm liking a hell of a lot. I'm calling it Dark Cinematic Synthpop. Which is interweaving the aspects of Cinematic Film into Synthpop. "Stars" has come up organically in that manner.

Well here's the deal. I've been writing music since 1982. I have tons of starts but hardly any finishes due to a lot of frustration with my own voice. 

The Universe has found it humorous to screw with me all along the way. Keyboards like to die on me midstream during my song writing process. I had a computer for several years that was a complete lemon that would always crash when I ran anything audio. And I was in a relationship where music "was a waste of time" and shamed out of it.

Well that relationship is over, it's taken awhile for me to recover mentally and to find my Muse again. I realized thing dying on me were a result of mine own negative and insecure energy. I feel it's important to finish those things that have been left hanging. 

Originally, I was heavily influenced by Erasure and Depeche Mode. Later I found beauty in EBTG. EBTG stopped writing, Erasure only writes the same song anymore, and DM only seems to put out overcompressed noise now. So... I've been influenced by lesser known bands now.  Assemblage 23 is my biggest influence. Nizter Ebb has fallen in my sights as well. Other influences include, Covenant, Icon of Coil and Necessary Response. 

My music used to be very happy and poppy.  I now find more interest in darker music. Although, it does still seem poppy, I find favor in the combination of darkness now.

Every once in awhile a happy song will pop up. That would most likely be because it's a very old song that I've redone.

My goal now has become to leave a legacy behind for friends and family. I have so many great things that people deserve to enjoy.
