I’ve been nervously wondering if we could see what each other sees. I lose my mind only to find, it’s preoccupied with the way you look at me. While your fingertips trace the melody, it’s one you know from memory. While my fingertips chase a memory where we’ve always been, and will always be. 

Your heart is a juniper tree, with all of its conflicting information, but I won’t let that worry me, it's never been about the destination.

I’ve been purposely losing sleep, just so you would keep on talking to me. It’s a double edged blade to feel this way, never running out of things I want to hear you say. Conversion over coffee and I’m in over my head, when you tap your feet to the melody of something that I said. You’re in the passenger seat, like a sweet memory of someone I was always meant to meet. 

Your heart is a juniper tree, with all of its conflicting information, but I won’t let that worry me, it's never been about the destination. You’ve been living totally rent free, in my mind that’s filled with hesitation, but your light is the one that’s guiding me, narrowly avoiding devastation.
