You never know how  loop's going to turn out. What surprised me about this one was the bell-like chime sounds, as this track is played on guitar through a couple of TC electronics  pedals. I used the TC electronic triple delay tape setting, which beautifully degrades the sound over time, smoothing it out like pebbles in water, polishing the string plucks into finger symbols.

The "Croisière du monde", our almost complete collaborative album with Roberto B (@user-55822457 and @robertoiib) now proposes its eponymous 10th (last but one) track - or, in (our preferred) English translation, "Cruiser Ships Crossing the Seas". We hope you'll enjoy this composition as much as the album as a whole, to be released in a week.

The track was created in collaboration on 3 October 2021 (initial mix and recording in MAGIX by Roberto B), 6 November 2021 (subsequent additions, mix and recording in GarageBand and Logic Pro by Alex M) and 27 November 2021 (further arrangements and recording, with final mix, in Logic Pro by Alex M), and posted on SC on 4 December 2021 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the album and all its constituent tracks was designed and implemented by Alex M on 29 June 2021 (in Tayasui Sketch in Mac OS), cropped by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 30 June 2021, and annotated with text by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 2 October 2021 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

Thank you so much, Roberto - for the beautiful musical ideas that inspire again our new collaborations in this ongoing "musique de film" - and more - album, "Croisière du monde"!

Dancing With the Devil was inspired by a very long pause in existence, in which Awake Jake had started to experience one day and never seemed to surface from it. His battle with drug Addiction only became worse, as he wandered in the vast, dark shadow, that was being cast over him by his depression. He started to believe that love was not something you only found in fairy tales, therefore he started giving up on Love altogether.
