The mastermind behind tuning cars and mixing tunes as a DJ/ Producer. Pursuing both passions in cars and music, DJ Garage Life has performed at notable venues in Los Angeles such as Avalon Hollywood, Catch One, and Academy LA. He recently performed an hour mix on Studio Sounds Radio in Düsseldorf and Dash Radio for Area of Electronic in Hollywood having his music heard worldwide. Just like the wide array of automotive skills that he carries, he produces/spins anything from house, tech house, techno, and trance.

New Album Release
Brothers & Sisters Anthology Vol. 2

After 4 years of searching for old tapes of our recordings, circa 1975-1979, we were able to salvage, digitize and edit a few never released songs that would otherwise be laying on a shelf gathering rust and dust. We also have several more recent recordings added for a total of 14 songs in an eclectic mix of musical genres including Bluegrass, Country, Country Rock, Cajun, Folk and Americana. The new album release is an Anthology of some of the songs that were recorded at Deep South Studio, Studio in the Country and Studio in the Country Club(Paw Paw's) including one song which was recorded live at Cahoots in 1976. The original 5 Copas Brothers, 1974-1976, are featured on this new album release along with some 1977-79 step-brothers and special guest players Gram Rea, Sam Alfano and Joe Miceli.  There are 3 Louisiana Music Hall of Fame Producers, Leon Medica, Harold Cowart and John Fred as well.

This new album release is an attempt to have the songs the five of us poured our hearts and souls into be heard by our families, friends and fans. We sincerely hope you enjoy listening to the music.

In The Beginning...

Life was rough for a young 2K! It seemed to be more than a million ways to die in his hometown of Cincinnati, Oh. At first glance an outsider looking in might see a congregation of corrupted citizens. Crazy enough 2K! called this relentless environment his home, and nonetheless learned firsthand the Hip-Hop culture hither...

...From The Midwest to the South...

At the age of 9 up until adulthood, 2K! never had a permanent home. Having lived in multiple cities and households with little to no amount of time to settle in, 2K! adapted his actions to such a nature. His mentality mirrored his history, teaching him to never settle for what’s available yet to be content with what you do have. The moment he did find himself settling in any environment acquiring friends and loved ones, his blanket of comfort was snatched from underneath like a crumbling foundation. Throughout this time period 2K! recalls his roots and uses Hip-Hop as a means of coping, recreation, &, expression. With Hip-Hop being second nature, pure education, &, the only constant in 2K!’s life. Thus begins the story of Kenneth Knights...

Upon the new found outlet and opportunity 2K! discovered for himself. He made it his task and priority to use his gift for the betterment of society. Recalling what he’d been through, he finally understood with great power comes great responsibility. Battling through low income, lack of parenting, &, an oppositional industry. 2K! works his best to outdo any previous climax & undo a problematic past for generations to come. Indubitably fulfilling a prolific destiny to elevate as one of the greatest MC’s to ever touch a microphone.
