Beginning as subway buskers, Queens funk rock band LTrain’s story is a New York story. As featured in The Noise Beneath The Apple, an art book about the city’s street performers, the band began in January 2011 when Crystalla Gonzalez (vocals) and Gabriel Castellar (guitar/vocals) started busking with a song called “On The Train.”

Halting busy, side walkers with their dynamic chemistry, original takes on hip-hop, funk and rock, and indisputable romance for the city, the two quickly saw reward for their hustle. With the addition of Tristan Green (drums), the band have performed hundreds of New York shows at high-flying venues, including Knitting Factory, Arlene’s Grocery, and The Studio at Webster Hall. Fusing together influences dear and true to New York, including the Latin beats of Tito Puente, the cool jazz of Miles Davis, and punk rock of The Ramones, the band delivers an exciting sound that perfectly showcases the city’s multiplicity.

Set to debut this fall, Can’t Pay Bills is a concept album depicting the highs and lows of New York City life, from the “Party on Bedford” to “The Rent Is Still to Damn High.” The band is proudly ready to grow and become as indigenous to the city as the Brooklyn Bridge, dollar slices, graffiti… and the subway they’re born from. 

 
Is it time to withdraw from this isolated diversion from which we call home? At the corner of complacency and malignant minds, rush hour is permanent and discretion is futile. The concrete has dried but the children’s feet continue to sink. A light flashes green but not for more than a second before halting the nature of progress. Clocks indicate debt and a conversation becomes loitering. Every face that passes by is a comfy house; eyes like windows to peer through but all are afraid to knock on the door but never too hesitant to breathe on the window and scratch into the fogged up surface before vanishing off the beaten path. Reach beyond the pale where Mother Nature will answer questions that are unimaginable. Listen without thought and teach without force. Use this new fiery rapport to melt away the frozen ambitions of a conventional majority. At last, the water is here; though its pliability cannot be fully digested because now the boundaries are extinct. From here on every step forward gives birth to the orders of the new man. 
From here on every action performed and every word spoken will be a reflection of an elemental lullaby. Upon this introspection coalesced the nativity of Firewater Folklore.

Mikal Goodall, a.k.a STVTC, has been producing music since late 2011, and has amassed fans all across Arizona. His local presence first picked up in 2018, when he was a finalist in the Gold Rush Competition of that year. Not only has he played the world-renowned Phoenix Lights Festival, but he's opened for some of the biggest acts in bass music, including Barely Alive, Megalodon, and Dack Janiels. Drawing inspiration from the gritty sounds of midtempo-bass, STVTC’s growing catalog of music is one to be reckoned with, and shows no signs of halting.

EXTRAORDINAIRE is a producer, songwriter, hustler, one half of the group @blackfolkinc and founding member of @circa94beats. He was born in Nashville,TN (Cashville), earning his ‘stripes’ out of Chattanooga TN (Chatt‐town) -­‐ the place he currently resides, and in Atlanta where he 
spent his summers. Music became his ‘heartbeat’-­‐ participating in plays, talent 
shows, and had his first televised performance as a youth during the legendary Lou Rawls hosted UNCF hosted telethon at his cities local network affiliate. Extraordinaire has an anything goes approach to his music that is an unconscious raw 
style-­‐ where if it sounds good-­‐ feels good-­‐ IT’s MUSIC!!! He would go on to join forces with B-­‐Lo Brown to create the dynamic duo Black Folk, Inc. -­‐ the Southern Hip Hop phenoms that left heads turning throughout the South and all the way to Japan. The group received honors throughout the music industry in many publications – Murder Dog Magazine honored them as 
‘One of the best album Releases’. The C.I.A. Awards voted them Best R&B/Rap Group twice. Together they opened concerts for such acts as Too Short, Trina , Ying Yang Twins, Slim Thug and Eightball & MJG, Doug E Fresh, Whodini, and Big KRIT and they have also headlined concerts throughout the southeast. The Hole Magazine deemed them TENNESSEE BAD BOYS. 


The success of Black Folk, Inc – launched his career in production to the next level. He began producing music for artist signed to 
Atlantic, Shady, Sony and SRC. He had an opportunity to work with Lil Wayne but on the eve of the collaboration -­‐ the local artist from Chattanooga (Pinney Woods) Brikk was killed. During th at same time he had signed to a label – but the CEO was later placed in prison halting all publicity on the single that was in rotation “She Likeded Dat”. In the midst of tragedy and mishap – Walter Lee, his more conscious /artistic side, was birthed. He turned his attention to starting the Hip Hop production collective Circa 94 Beats. He continued to experience loss of close friends that he had built his music foundation with. He focused even more on Circa 94 Beats which was a way to take it back to his roots, rebuild and come back stronger and harder to be able to take the hits the game served him. Over the next 3 years Circa 94 Beats released several projects on the hip hop label Serious Knock Entertainment – including a project with Black Folk, Inc. 

The creative sparks to perform again as EXTRAORDINAIRE began to fuel him and he began recording day and night – tracks that were in the anticipation of his solo debut ‘Bread & Butter’ from Southern Comfort Entertainment. He is out to get his piece of the pie – production, rap, movies, TV – Worldwide!
