My love of music of all kinds was influenced by people very dear to me...my grandfather, my uncles, and my mom. They all played their part in helping me find bits and pieces from many different genres that I could connect to and enjoy. Through the years I have gone from Willie Nelson, Crystal Gayle to Bryan Adams, TOTO, The Eagles, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Buck Cherry, Nickelback, Hinder, Hank Williams, George Strait and of course the Great Chris LeDoux (just to mention a few). Although I love good solid Rock N Roll, Country has always been at the heart of things for me. One artist in particular really struck a chord....

Chris LeDoux was about as down to earth, genuine, sincere and solid as a man comes. I have been asked many times why I "idolize" him and my response is simple - I Don't. I respect what he did and how he did it. I respect the way he held true to his roots for better or worse. His music was about the simple life of a real cowboy in an era where he possibly was one of the "Last of a Dyin' Breed". He didn't sing about cheating and most of his songs put a smile on your face when you were down. There was nothing more soothing and peaceful than listening to "Powder River Home" or "Western Skies" as you sat around the campfire with your friends and family on a deer hunt in

the high Uintah Mountains just East of Heber City, Utah. He had a tremendous influence on me so the music I choose to write and record I can only hope reflects that.

I have tried my hand at many different parts of the music industry - producing, arranging, writing, engineering, promoting, booking, but nothing can compare to the feeling of performing live and connecting with friends who feel the way you do about things. One of the biggest thrills I have ever experienced was the first time I looked down and saw a grinning face singing along with every word of a song that I had written and was performing, I lost my place and totally forgot my lyrics - WHAT A RUSH!

I've had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the great names in country music including: Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Diamond Rio, Sawyer Brown, Restless Heart, Phil Vassar, Deanna Carter, Little Texas, Gary Allan, The Little River Band, Brian White, Earl Thomas Conley, Highway 101, Ryan Shuppe, .38 Special to name a few. It has been a good ride so far.

After some serious time off I'm beyond excited to be back at it working on the new Project "Black & Blue" and I can't wait to reveal some of the new material!

JOANAMOS aka Joana Mosquera Contreras, Cantautora y productora musical, Colombiana de madre Venezolana Ana Isabel Contreras  y padre ecuatoriano Felix Mosquera, la menor de 5 hermanos de el primer matrimonio de su madre, hermanos August Saquisela, Mercy Saquisela, Victor Saquisela, Mario Saquisela, creció en N.Y. Practicando ballet desde muy temprana edad, realizo talleres de actuación y fotografía. Llego a Cali Colombia en donde continuo sus practicas de Ballet y danza contemporánea en los talleres del Ballet Santiago de Cali, experimentaba a su vez con otros ritmos tales como la salsa y el tango, mientras estudiaba filosofía en la Universidad de Valle, así se dio la oportunidad de empezar a cantar y componer para su primer grupo musical.

"LUCY"1996-99(Joana Mos/voz lider; Diego Trujillo y Alejandro marulanda/ bateristas; Jose, Alejandro, Gustavo/ guitarristas; Martin Ruiz/bajista)en el cual la idea era experimentar con géneros como el Punk, Neo Punk, Grunge, Indie y noise, aportando al show danza y performance. Lucy toco y giro por Colombia por dos años, hasta que decidió iniciar un nuevo proyecto, GOLDEN DUST 1999-2002 junto con el hasta entonces baterista de LUCY (Alejandro Marulanda), esta vez haciendo música Electrónica experimental, vocal, Influenciada principalmente por el trip hop, con este proyecto se alcanzó a concretar un primer trabajo profesional llamado “REALITIES FROM INSANE” con criticas de personajes como leila Cobo. JOANAMOS aka Joana Mosquera Contreras, singer/songwriter and producer , Colombian Venezuelan mother Ana Isabel Contreras and Ecuadorian father Felix Mosquera, the youngest of 5 , brothers and sister: August Saquisela, Mercy Saquisela, Victor Saquisela, Mario Saquisela. Got to Cali, Colombia where she continued her ballet, contemporary, and acting practices in the ballet Santiago de Cali, experimenting at the same time with salsa and tango dancing, while she studied philosophy in UniValle university in Cali, then came the opportunity to start writing and singing for her first music project.

º BEGINNINGS :  
"LUCY"1996-99(Joana Mos/lead vocals; Diego Trujillo y Alejandro marulanda/drums; Jose, Alejandro, Gustavo/ guitars; Martin Ruiz/base) in which the main idea was to play with genders such as Punk, Neo Punk, Grunge, Indie y noise, also feeding the show with dance and performance. LUCY toured around Colombia for 2 years, until she decided to start a new project. GOLDEN DUST 1999 with the former drum player of LUCY (Alejandro Marulanda), this time writing experimental electronic, vocal, influenced mainly by trip hop, with this project her day view professional album called "RELITIES FROM INSANE" with good comments by VIPs such as Leila Cobo. With the experience of the previous music projects and after a Sabbath year in Venezuela where she auditioned  and collaborated with artists and producers from that country, she decided to take a chance in Latin genders and song writing in spanish for the first time, so with Mauricio Campo(lead vocal for SuperLitio-Latin Grammy nominee), with whom later would found EASY LOVE 2003-5, group where the first single "PA MI CHICA", (duet) had great acceptance in the teenage and pop radio stations, to the point of reaching the first places in popularity lists among the country and brought attention of a more popular audience . *JOANAMOS and "JOANAMOS IN ****** LAND" 2007-2009 with the collaboration of Julian Londoño/producer and manager, first experiment of music project as a solo artist JOANAMOS, where they play with Caribbean rhythms , such as reggae, antillana music, as spectrums and rhythms such as dance, funk and rock as solid bases of the sonic structure. Electravibe was a ground-breaking alternative/electronica band based in New Orleans in the late 1990s thru mid 2000s. Electravibe was known for being able to create electronic & dance music, encompassing a variety of styles, live on-stage with actual instruments played by real musicians and for using organic instruments in the creation of "electronic" studio tracks. A description from the old Electravibe website sums it up as: "ElectraVibe is a collective of musicians who aren't afraid to take music in practically obscene directions with climactic combinations of styles ranging from drum n bass, breakbeat, jazz fusion, house, trance, trip hop, funk, balls to the wall techno, and lascivious loungy grooves. With real live instruments. Computers are never used onstage unless it's to view pornography". So there you have it....


An extended detailed biography of Electravibe follows below for those interested in finding out more about the band and the people behind the music of this extraordinary project:

Electravibe was the brainchild of critically-acclaimed jazz pianist/organist Charlie Dennard, multi-instrumentalist alternative rock veteran Chris Collins, and adventurous jazz guitarist Jesse Lewis. Early Electravibe compositions consisted mostly of more complex "jazz" chord voicings and progressions mixed with Drum n Bass, acid jazz, or trip hop beats and phrases. Early listeners and critics honestly were not sure just what to make of the band, as such sophisticated voicings and soaring, emotionally evocative leads mixed with club and rave groove styles just hadn't been heard before Electravibe came roaring onto the scene. Jazz purists were nothing short of alarmed, electronic music fans and ravers were shocked that actual musicians with actual instruments were conjuring such compositions and grooves, and Electravibe did what they did, all the while pushing the envelope and, not only discovering new ground, but creating it. For live shows, the band added additional musicians and guest artists, including in-demand jazz/funk/country/roots/rock drummer Doug Bellote, who had an astounding talent for laying down DnB drum beats that would put even the most complex beat boxes and drum machines to shame.

Original guitarist/cellist Jesse Lewis moved to New York around the year 2000 and drummer Doug Bellote found himself more in demand with world-touring artists, but Charlie and Chris, Electravibe, forged on. The band added beat box wiz and electronic music aficionado Nevil DeFelice, adventurous vocalist/lyricist Alyssa Morris, and talented guitarist Rocky Raful, and the band then incorporated many additional styles of electronic dance music into their songs, such as trance, house, breakbeat, techno, and so on, all the while still performing shows with "real" instruments and live vocals. Incorporating these more popular, dance friendly styles saw Electravibe climb and create to new heights, landing steady club gigs and commercial offers.

Vocalist/lyricist Alyssa Morris eventually brought her talent to the West coast, relocating to Seattle, and guitarist Rocky Raful moved back to his native Caribbean island. Though they were certainly missed, Electravibe didn't miss a beat, recruiting the wickedly talented and stunningly beautiful Kimberley Longstreth to take over vocal duties. Though still only in her 20s, Kimberley was already a seasoned, charismatic stage veteran, having been an acclaimed and accomplished jazz vocalist for many years. Taking over guitar duties was a revolving cast of characters, all very talented, including Sunny Mehta, Brian Seeger, Tim Robertson, and Matt Fricke, all esteemed veterans of the New Orleans jazz and rock scenes.

Dimitris & Sulene are a new music duo, Sulene Fleming and Dimitris Dimopoulos are both composers producers and songwriters.

The duo first met in 2014 introduced by a mutual friend Kimon Pantelides
Dimitris originally sent an instrumental idea to Sulene as soon as she heard the track she instantly loved it and then started writing the melody and the lyrics.
Dimitris and Sulene were very happy with what they had come up with they then sent a few more ideas back and forth.
With each idea it was obvious that they would set out to complete an album.
D & S sent ideas back and forth and also wrote together bouncing off ideas. 
Both sharing a love of the same music they both wanted to write a classic sounding album with all elements of music that they both enjoyed.
It was a long process, full of joy and excitement and finally!
We can't wait to share our beautiful album made with love.

Dimitris is also a session musician, playing the keyboards, arranging and composing. He has collaborated with many jazz legends including Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Don Grusin and Jeff Lorber.

Sulene is the lead singer of the Brand New Heavies along with The Fantastics!

Born in Milan Italy with Iranian heritage, I started music when I was 14 years old playing afro cuban percussions. Growing up in Italy, electronic music is ingrained into the culture and has had great influence on the evolution of my productions.

Around the age of 18, I began to create music. My very first release was titled "Persian Dream" featuring Marco Bonuso released on Sound Division (ITA). Persian Dream was one of the first fusion tracks that truly combined electronic music with Middle Eastern vibes. Persian dream was one of the most successful tracks played in 2007 by some of the largest artists in the world.

The next release was a collaboration with DJ Aron of LE Follies De Pigalle called “Don’t feel no shame”. It was featured as one of the top Beatport tracks and number 6 on the overall chart for 2 months in 2008. Shortly after, I started to play at many clubs and events across Italy.

In 2011, I moved to LA and shifted away from European-tech to more sophisticated sounds with experimental grooves and slower beats inspired by my origins.

After moving to the US and being away from music for few years, I started producing and djing again and most recently opened the Santa Monica based label Pipe & Pochet with Patrik Khach. My goal is to inspire other artists and fans through music and have now began to showcase my productions in the US and beyond.

Born from a collective love affair with rock’n’roll’s true roots, BlackWolf’s soulful hard edged sound concentrates on channelling a contemporary voice with a vintage focus. Swagger-laden riffs collide with soulful swells. Pounding rhythms stomp, swing and shuffle alongside blues-soaked melodies, all providing an ideal base for lyrics that remember their honesty and a live show that feels not only energetic but revitalised.

Alongside supporting The Union (featuring Luke Morley of Thunder) on their entire UK headline tour in early 2013, the Bristol, UK based BlackWolf have supported a number of noteworthy acts including: Toby Jepson of Little Angels, The Temperance Movement, Reckless Love, Voodoo Six, Neville Macdonald of SKIN, Jettblack and Revoker plus many more. Their 2012 début EP release ‘Taking Root’ and their new September 2013 single release ‘Mr Maker’ have seen the band receive critical success and a mass of positive reviews, grabbing the interest and high hopes of the online press as well as regional and national magazines. Along with many international and independent radio stations, BlackWolf’s recent radio plays include prolific stations such as PlanetRock Radio, Team Rock Radio and Bloodstock Radio.

BlackWolf’s short but hard-earned road started with them racking up their achievements early on. After driving through some 12,000 bands to win a spot at the Surface Unsigned Festival Final at the O2 Arena, London, their next achievement saw them being hand-picked from over 900 undiscovered UK bands to compete in the final of the 2012 Highway To Hell 3 competition at The Classic Grand, Glasgow. BlackWolf then went on to win a spot at Hard Rock Hell VI where they not only succeeded in winning over the festival crowd, but also left reviewers and bloggers marking them out as one of the best new rock’n’roll bands to watch.

In order to fund their first full-length album BlackWolf launched their first ever Pledge Music campaign in April this year. Fans reacted instantly and in just nine days BlackWolf had already reached 50% of their entire cost target, a few weeks later and the project had reached its 100% goal. Their début album titled ‘The Hunt’ will be released to the public in early 2014

With comparisons being made between themselves and successful peers; Rival Sons, The Answer and Alter Bridge amongst others, BlackWolf draw their sound from a multitude of inspirational wells; ranging from the great Led Zeppelin, Muddy Waters, AC/DC, Chuck Berry, early Guns & Roses and Wilson Pickett to contemporary giants Black Stone Cherry, Mastodon and Avenged Sevenfold.
