“I shouldn’t have schmoked before sitting down to pen this nonsense, now I can’t write about myself without vomiting up some grandiloquent hyperbole, all you need to know is that I’m an ex angry booze hound, turned cynical stoner who somewhere down the line, started writing and in pursuit of work, moved to the Big Smoke. Then thanks to a bunch of unfortunate plot twists, became homeless, continued writing, became more misanthropic, continued drinking, embraced Nihilism, took to Absurdism and continued drinking until he mastered the art of talking shit. Hustled his way back into a fixed abode, found stability with handy short term financial donations from a multimillionaire-pop star he never met, kept writing, replaced the booze with weed, kept writing and gained some insight and a handful of stories to tell. People will project what they want on to an artist, it doesn’t matter who I am, I’ll keep being me to me & Stig Of The Dump will keep being me to them. It’s probably best to not over think it but that’s apparently “my problem”. On the other hand i’m good at saying dumb shit & occasionally something meaningful falls through the gaps”

Krissy Ramsey is a Chattanooga. Tennessee-based singer/songwriter whose romantic, Celtic-tinged folk rock blends British progressive influences (Al Stewart, Strawbs, Sandy Denny, Renaissance, Alan Parsons Project) with a dash of Scenic City soul. As a native Chattanoogan, her songs chronicle life in the South, extending the Appalachian folk music tradition into the 21st century. Inspired by the beauty of the Tennessee Valley and infused with mystic imagery and social commentary, Krissy's art expresses the quintessence of her experience in the universal meeting place between spirit and the flesh. 
 
Krissy's visionary album, On the Dying Breath of Wisdom, was released in 2012. The music combines introspective lyrics, soulful melodies, and lush keyboards with a mix of folk, rock, and classical elements reminiscent of the British art rock of the 1970’s. Its ten songs comprise a musical portrait of Jim's spiritual evolution as reflected in his relationships and the historical events of the time, and offers the timeless message that humankind has the power to realize its highest destiny by transcending age-old divisions and embracing the unity of all life.

Krissy was born in New Jersey in 1961 to a career Air Force father and a British mother. She lived in Ohio, England, and Florida before his family settled in Chattanooga when she was 12. He developed an early love of music listening to Top 40 AM radio and her parents' record collection. Krissy received formal training in junior high school band, where Krissy played French horn, trumpet, and bass clarinet. It was during this time that she wrote his first songs, a passion that was further fueled by her discovery of British progressive rock and then playing electric piano in a garage band. 

After graduating from high school in 1979, Krissy enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he contributed to the reactivation of the 2nd Chemical Battalion at Fort Hood, Texas. Returning to Chattanooga following her discharge 1982, Krissy taught herself to play the guitar and spent the rest of the decade honing his songwriting skills and promoting his music. Her songwriting from its inception was intimately entwined with his spiritual search, which led her from Buddhism to Catholicism, culminating in a two-month stay in a Trappist monastery in 1987, where she almost made the decision to become a monk. Instead, however, Krissy had a daughter, started playing as a solo acoustic artist in small local venues, and returned to school in 1992, graduating with a Master’s degree in Counseling in 1996 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

After beginning her counseling career, Krissy began working on her album, "On the Dying Breath of Wisdom," in 1997, which was completed in May, 2000. The increasing demands of his new career at that time, however, forced Krissy to put her music pursuits on hold until 2007 when she was forced out of her field with the worsening economy.

While Krissy continued to write new music, the onset of the Great Recession initiated a four-year crisis, during which time she found himself constantly on the verge of homelessness. Having survived that ordeal, Krissy returned to UTC in 2011 to pursue further graduate studies in school psychology, and she was finally able to release his album (in digital format) in 2012.

As an ordained minister, Krissy was called to start an interfaith ministry, Crossvine Church, in 2013, through which she continues to provide ceremony officiant and pastoral counseling services. While Krissy's songs are not overtly, because her songwriting emanates directly from her soul and has always been integral to his spirituality, she consider it "sacred music," and therefore includes it as part of her ministry.

Krissy is back and better than ever with 15 years' worth of new material to share. She is currently seeking regional solo acoustic gigs, preparing to record his second album, and is open to creative collaborations with like-minded artists.

Karma Jane "AKA" Shauntisha Handy; an american singer, rapper, songwriter was born December 28, 1989 in Vincenza Italy, and raised in Fayetteville North Carolina. Known for her dynamic personality and cool Carolina swag, she captivates her audience and hopes to leave everyone listening with a sense of self. Although she didn't begin her music career until her mid 20's in late 2014; her passion for music and performing has always reflected in her lifestyle, originating with church choir, chorus, orchestra, and theater arts. From her meaningful lyrics to her catchy punchlines, and quirky quick witted flow she plans to solidify her spot in Hip hop and R&B and maintain a sound that's only to be described as authentic. Keep your eyes on the look out and ears open for this new and fresh upcoming artist.

Sonic the Hedgehog music influenced me first, I used to record all the sounds on my YakBak and warp them over and over again.Then came years and years of piano lessons.I play most of my stuff by ear and don't read music as much as I used to, but I do have a background in classical piano, and I love to play Chopin Waltzes, Mazurkas, and Preludes.I also love to sing and play along to Tori Amos and Amy Winehouse (RIP).Along with anything else that has influenced me, especially anything electronic, it all makes its way into my music.I also love to design and record sounds with my Zoom Handy Recorder.Whether I'm walking through the streets of Brooklyn recording bustling subway stations, watching Jet Li movies with bad English dubbed in, listening to bird noises early in the morning in downtown Orlando, or doing anything else that sparks a creative effort in order to blend sounds together into cohesive ideas, I will incorporate it into a set or make a track out of it.Most of my tracks have been created using Reason 3.0-5.0, although I have worked with countless other programs in the past, and I also use Mixmeister to blend and create sets. In the past I have also done several tracks using Ableton and Cubase."Ya Heard" was done exclusively on Ableton, with my voice all dubbed in and tweaked to a tea, asking you throughout the whole track if you had been listening."Open Your Eyes" was a demo I made of myself singing at York Recording Studio (YRS MIDI) where I completed a music production degree interning with owner George York and learned the ropes of Cubase. *I just completed a small study on a child that has CHARGE syndrome, a form of autism that causes many of those diagnosed to be born deaf, amongst several other abnormalities usually seen.I was a caregiver for Max Carrolle at a convention for CHARGE. He is deaf in his left ear, but has 25% hearing in his right ear.I let him play on my keyboard while placing an earbud in his right ear, and it seemed to provide him a lot of comfort.I will be posting some of his compositions very soon.Everyone has the capacity to be involved in music therapy at some level, through what they find therapeutic for themselves as well as providing it for others, and it will continue to be a part of what I do for as long as I live.  The sense of peace one can receive through the ability to hear is a God-given gift we have to keep nurturing and learn about, for I believe it brings a self-discovery about our selves and the rest of the human race that signals out some of the most effervescent scales of emotion.*
