    Ironstein is a psytrance producer hailing from the Front Left Studios in Cape Town and is currently signed to Disasterpeace Records.
    
    ironstein has a long history in the electronic music industry and it all began as DJ at the young age of eleven, moving from dance to harder forms of house and trance. Discovering music production software two years ago got him tweaking and twisting music.
    
    Working with guys like Frozen Ghost,Hiyarant,B-55,Phyx and doing the collaboration projects of 'Terror Mental' as well as the newly established project with Frozen Ghost 'Cold Turkey'  has allowed this artist to fine tune his sound for the night time creatures. His style is said to be sinfully fast paced, bent, mental and twisted, carried with rolling percussion & blended with raw, distorted leads.
    
    Ironstein's tracks can be heard on the forthcoming Disasterpeace Records V/A Releases and on the new Frozen Ghost 'Sin For Dinner' Album.

Born a music junkie in New York’s infamous Spanish Harlem, DJ Jerry Ferrer savors the recollection of growing up surrounded by live Latin, Reggae &amp; Calypso music in the streets around him. Passing up the usual assortment of toys as a toddler, Jerry preferred to spin the covers of his Mom’s cooking pots (DJ Jerry mentions that a Santeria Witch Doctor once told him that his spirit was entranced by two spinning silver wheels). 
At the age of five, while being babysat by his Teen Cousin, DJ Jerry recalls how he understood which records to play for her and her friends by looking at the label art on the 45s, so when the shades went down and the red light came on, he knew exactly which jams to play.
Influenced by his Dad’s Spanish guitar playing and great collection of 78 RPM discs, his Mom’s devotion to the old Latin classics playing on AM radio every Sunday, and his Sister’s love of R&amp;B and fusion, how could DJ Jerry not venture into all things MUSIC. “I remember as a kid, listening to records over and over again, every time I would focus on a single instrument, bass, piano, horns, etc., until I knew the whole arrangement inside out!” , “I didn’t realize till later that I had inadvertently learned how to arrange music by doing that”. Hearing family friend Angela Bofil dissect the vocal harmonies of soul groups such as the Stylistics and Delfonics was another revelation that didn’t sink in until he started arranging music and realized he could put together harmonies with ease.
In 1973, DJ Jerry started mixing vinyl by hard wiring two turntables together and learning to silently drop and pickup the needle in the grooves. By 1978, after playing at all the neighborhood parties and surviving a string of social clubs and firetraps all over Harlem and the South Bronx, DJ Jerry was doing stints as house DJ at many Latin Discos such as the Chez Sensual and Epiphany’s which finally led to gigs at some of the hottest Clubs of the time.
In the early eighties, DJ Jerry teamed up with the late, great Emcee Eddie Loose Moose Gonzalez and was doing mobile gigs all over The New York and New Jersey area. It was at that point that DJ Jerry started creating sophisticated Master Mixes for his gigs and for radio stations in New York City such as the original 92 WKTU. “I thought I couldn’t afford a reel to reel tape deck to do the work on, so I learned to splice segments together using the pause button on a pair of old cassette decks and used them to do dubs”. 
In the late eighties, DJ Jerry teamed up with Harlem’s DJ Bob Moss. Together, they produced the House Anthem “Baby let me love you for tonight” sung by the artist “Kariya”. Asked about his inspiration for the track, DJ Jerry says “I wrote this song after having been at this club called THE WORLD. I was upstairs in the V.I.P. area hanging out with some record industry people and was introduced to some very hot, gorgeous young ladies who were looking for record deals. One of those young ladies - - -I remember thinking “so this is a Jeep Freak!”, she was offering to give me the most incredible night for a chance to get a record deal. I don’t remember all the B.S. she hit me with, but I’ll never forget the feral look in her eyes when she hit me with the line “let me love you for the night”, I couldn’t get that out of my head and the rest is history. We were originally tasked by Sleeping Bag Records to produce a Latin Freestyle track for Kariya but DJ Bob had the brilliant idea to do the B-Side as a House track. I’m a big fan of Vince Montana and all the SalSoul and MFSB stuff, and I had delusions of grandeur in wanting to put together this big fat orchestrated track. I wanted to get a smooth groove going like MFSB’s great “Love is the message” break. I think I got that feel in my Rhodes piano riff and was working on this big orchestra arrangement when it hit me that what I really needed to do was spotlight Kariya’s amazing voice, not my feeble arranging skills. DJ Bob had discovered Kariya at an Appollo amateur night and worked tirelessly to get her signed. This small, little lady had the most incredible vocal power and the sweetest tone. Anyway, I stripped the arrangement down to the bare essentials to let her voice shine. I feel we coaxed an incredible vocal performance out of Kariya, she actually made my cheesy lyrics sound grand”.

He has been interested in different styles of music since his young days, originally playing party electronic music like Drum and Bass, Ragga Jungle or Psytrance, he got into Electroswing after discovering bands like Caravan Palace.

JD Simo... The Chicago-born, now Nashville transplant is like a one-man crusade dedicated to keeping music real, raw, and honest. No matter the setting and no matter his role (whether it’s wingman or bandleader) 
J.D.’s presence infuses the situation of the moment with the music that’s been fueling him pretty much his whole life, spiced with influences that straddle both decades and dimensions.
As a songwriter, guitarist, and producer he has worked with the likes of Jack White, Tommy Emmanuel, Luther Dickinson, Dave Cobb, Blackberry Smoke, and even been a member of Grateful Dead founder Phil Lesh' "Phil & Friends". 
Now he comes forth with his most unique, original and rawest effort yet… “Mind Control” which drops November 5th 2021.
During lockdown in '20, he started cutting tracks in his makeshift studio on a weekly basis. Joined by longtime collaborator Adam Abrashoff on drums and the addition of longtime friend, bassist-producer-engineer Adam Bednarik (Justin Townes Earle), they mused a proverbial soup of shared influences.
Hill country trance blues of Junior Kimbrough, RL Burnside and Asie Payton. Hypnotic Afro Beat of Fela Kuti and Tony Allen. Psychedelic warps of Captain Beefheart, Funkadelic, and Jimi Hendrix. The old school blues of John Lee Hooker, Earl Hooker and Lightnin Hopkins. As well as the raw fuzzy rock of The Stooges and Nirvana.
“Mind Control” is the product of 3 like minded buddies huddled in a humble setting, making music to make them feel good. The songs stark revealing nature, is the product of them using the creative process for therapy and enjoyment. Because they simply had to, for no other reason than they couldn’t not! They love it too much. A positive theme of growth, self help and struggles with addiction and mental health lay along side a haunting, low down musical landscape. It's raw, funky and real. Such is life.

Singer Songwriter Jamera Simmons Currently resides in Atlanta Georgia.  Her spunky, sexy, soulful voice has graced stages large and small from California to Canada, Europe and the US.  Her music is most influenced by Southern Cali Rappers, break dancers, and alternative rock bands she grew up around in the 90's.  This mixed with earlier memories of her mother who sang classical and father who performed jazz.  In young adulthood Jamera cemented her own love affair with Soca and reggae and began to form her own sound and rhythm based on quirky vocal rhythms and bent notes.  Hypnotic pop music and double edged lyrics.  

The Sampler was released in 2006 as Jamera continues to write for commercial brands and sing on stages across the globe. Currently she is recording a story oriented CD, a collection of songs reflecting love, vice, and freedom.

Circular is the ambient duo Bjarte Andreassen and Jostein Dahl Gjelsvik from Norway. The band was conceived during the autumn of '95. The project is visioned as a melting pot of sonical textures and sounds, taking the listener on a journey into unfamiliar territories.

Their debut album appeared in the mid nighties on Origo, the same label as fellow countryman, Biosphere's early releases. Being among the artists to influence the sound that was to be known as arctic ambient, Circular kept developing and exploring a wider sound palette. References to the stark beauty of the wide open nature is still clear, combined with a warmer involving cinematic trait. Giving another musical nod to Future Sound Of London. The following three albums established and confirmed the duo's vision: creating a melting pot of sonical textures and music, taking the listener on a journey into undiscovered realms.

Circular’s latest album (Moon Pool) released in 2014 invites you into a pure ambient story divided seamlessly into 8 chapters. This is an album that will drive you further and deeper into sound. At times evanescent, ethereal, at times on a rolling ride. Subtle blend of synthesis and organic instrumentations, The new album reveals the artists’ multi-genre inspirations, from the downtempo ballad, to minimalistc electro glide and the ambidrum’n’bass collaboration with Vincent Villuis / AES Dana. Thought out and conceived with an ear to refined details, it will stand as a landmark in Bjarte and Jostein’s musical production.
