Nice lyrical approach and very well recorded

I get a "Smithsonian Folkways" kind of feeling when I listen to your music.  (That's a particular label I used to love. I'm not sure it still exists).  You have your own sound!

Hey Jim man, this is a wonderfully charming song. Great piano and bass in here. Netta gives a superb performance, too. Excellent work here, both of you!

Because I am thousands of years old, all of the memories I have that might be described as "vivid" are not ones from yesterday.  I recall, with absolute clarity, the late evening when another Jim, the patrolling, elderly, security guard dropped by my office to say hello and I bitched, in my coffee-induced stupor about the grief of the job and the current proposal I was writing and how I couldn't wait for retirement - still some distant point on life's horizon.  "Ah, son" he said, with a slight hint of the Irish in him, "don't wish it away".  My life-clock tells me that that was sometime around last Tuesday, but my calendar tells me it was thirty years ago.  You nailed it, guys.
