"Belated quarantine edition! In the middle of the long, dark Swedish winter, in a serious craving for dancefloors and summertimes we started a little project. A back to back mix session, recording one transition at a time and then handing it over to the other. As a way to hold on, and hang in there. Continuing this slow process over a couple of months, starting in the darkest winter and finishing in the bright Stockholm summer nights the result is a mixed goody bag of dance friendly music!" ~ Robob.

DJ, producer and pianist born in Tokyo, raised in the UK, now based in Bristol, Manami plays music inspired by her diverse upbringing and classical training. Through her Better Days party and monthly radio shows on Noods and 1020, she’s built up a loyal following in her hometown of Bristol. Manami is an artist who creates her own tune to dance to and does not limit herself within the boundaries of genres. 

Manami Invokes an hour of deep meditative transitions in this hypnotising mix of sounds approaching from the universe of Cosmic Leftfield, Trance and beyond. Be prepared...it’s a proper chuggathon!

Betonska Basta Radio #8 w/ Iggy P

A big moment for myself, as this is my own record label that will release primarily my own music. A special thanks to the City of Yarra for making this project possible by accepting my application for their COVID19 Quick Response grant.

The concept behind this record is that everything has been done witin Melbourne. All tracks were produced & mixed by myself. Mastering was also done locally by Corey Kikos (Sleed D). I went with Zenith Records which is a local vinyl pressing plant. Local record stores will get a round of records to sell exclusively, then the rest will be sold by myself either on Bandcamp or by hand.

Finally, I acknowledge the Wurundjeri People as the traditional owners of the land on which this record was produced. I pay my respects to their elders, past and present, and the Aboriginal Elders of the Wurundjeri People who may be here today. A percentage of the profits will be donated to Childrens Ground Organisation.

Robin Lindgren, som mest är känd under namnet Robob, började sin resa för nästan 10 år sedan. Under dessa år har han både synts till i Sverige och runt om i Europa. Här hemma har han regelbundet hörts på Klara Radio och Radio Tempo Nao Para och tillsammans med vänner arrangerat In The Bush. Hans musiksamling innefattar allt från House, disco/boogie, techno, soul, world music i både högt och lågt tempo. Denna bredd är något ni kommer få höra i denna mix!

Having spent to formative moments of her musical journey working at Flashback Records aged only 15, she has since been sharing her joy for music with dance floors across her hometown, mentoring and inspiring other creative women with Rhythm Sister, while regularly broadcasting her discoveries on the Rinse FM and Balamii airwaves.

You can normally expect anything from reggae and RnB, to disco, house and italo, or some UKG, but a journey through her Bsides will show the more soulful side to Eliza.

Her enthusiasm as collector shines through which each interlude providing the heart warming histories and emotional attachment to the music closest to her heart.
