Suzie Q is a tune with quite a long and rather remarkable history. This Classic was covered by many famous artists and bands, before it caught fire again as a breakout Monster Hit for Creedence Clearwater Revival (re-released on their 1968 Debut Album). The CCR version is still a primary frame-of-reference for me, but just re-created my own way with all due respect to the Original songwriter, Dale Hawkins. Hawkins wrote and first recorded it in 1957. Seems there's still a dispute about whether the '57 song was a remake of an earlier Sonny Boy Williams ditty of the same name, released as early as 1939. I recommend that anyone learning to play the guitar listen to this piece over and over again, playing the Gm/B♭pentatonic scale in various ways, and trying to find a phrase that you like.

The volume adjustment during mixdown is optimized for the environment when using the earphones that come with the iPhone. If you feel that the volume of the guitar playing in this work is low, please use earphones and check the volume balance of this recording. It seems that earphones other than those that came with the iPhone do not have any problems. When using an Android device and when connecting an audio interface to a PC, I connected inexpensive earphones and confirmed that the guitar volume can be heard at a roughly appropriate balance.

There is another way. I have embedded a SoundCloud player on my blog to introduce my works, but I noticed that this work sounds harder (mid-high tones are clearer) than when played directly in the browser. From the 1970 album “Confusion” By Big Brother Ernie Joseph
That features the the ever talented Orosco Brothers Ernie, Cory, and Brian.
It was recorded in Los Angeles California at Night City Recording Studio.
The studio featured a state of art 1/2 inch 4 track tape recorder.
The album was released on Uni records in LA, an unknown number of vinyl records were pressed.
It was produced By John Holmes  who also produced the Strawberry Alarm Clock.
Big Brother Ernie Joseph toured across the United States including the historic Love Valley Music Festival in 1970, headlined by the Allman Brothers Band. The Love Valley concert in South Carolina became known as "The Birthplace of Southern Rock”, and drew a crowd of 200,000 people. The band was interrupted by the Viet Nam war as members were drafted into the service.

The Carpenters are the Favourite band of all my celebrities.

Their songs have been a part of my childhood, my teenage years and even
now. Especially Karen's voice.
She had a fairly deep, medium-range voice, warm and colorful,
with an exceptional tone.
She was not only a singer, but also a very talented drummer.
Her brother Richard also has an extraordinary voice and does a lot of
backing vocals.

Their two voices alone amply cover the harmony of their tracks.
They're Unique.

I love this song; it's well-paced, as well as the bass and especially the drums.
For me, this song is very hard to sing, 
because the key starts off very low and rises quite high,
and the tempo also increases.

Honestly, I struggled to keep up with the rhythm in both choruses.
As I was saying, my voice isn't what it was 20-30 years ago. 🙂

This is a big Christmas project made by Axel Menningen, Mike Fox and Andrea Brennan, with a goal to help children in Ukraina, who are suffering from the war❤️  Me, and 19 others wonderful singers was so lucky to be a part of it.  And wow, what an amazing journey, with a fantastic result!  
A big thank you Axel, Mike and Andrea ,for doing this. And a big thank you  Axel, for making this fantastic video.

Hi! ☺️ I am an amateur singer/songwriter with a lot of passion for singing and Music.  I mostly sing originals,  but also covers . I like to write lyrics with meaning, something people can relate to. Not necessaraly my own experiences, it can be something i heard, seen or something someone  told me...
I also make music in GarageBand with small loops I put together. And I have much fun doing this 🙃
I am very impressed with how many talented people there is on Soundcloud! And so much love and kindness!
