This song is a tribute to beautiful lives cut short. Back in November 2022 last year three University of Virginia football players were shot and killed by a former teammate as they returned from a trip to see a play in Washington DC. It happens all too often in this country. These three were outstanding young men much loved and mourned by the community.

  This was the first Original song and music i made in Garageband, when I got my home studio..   😊                  lyrics:                                                   i didnt want to see you go,  but you was acting like a stone .. So i just had to make a choice, and listen to my inner voice..              i didnt know how to survive,  and i really had to dive.. down in the ocean of clouds.. but in the end i will feel proud. .                                I took a step into my dreams,  try to understand what they means.. i held my breath and count  to ten, searching for myself again..                                  i'll spread my wings out to fly, looking down from the sky. and while i watched you walked away, i smiled and let the pain fade..                                            Dont be afraid to live alone, you are stronger than you know..   Just keep your head up and be proud,  raise your voice and be loud .                                            the future lies there for your feet,  walk the steps in your own street.. This is a song I came up with, using a looper to create the beat, and adding bass to that.  I then sent it to Brian, who added some killer guitar tracks. I then sent that version to JJ, who added some really cool keys and synth. We then gave it over to Tez, who brilliantly mixed the monster into something palatable. I love afrobeat, and feel very honored to have all these brilliant musicians create this song with me. It's named after a phenomenon my South African buddy Louis (Zero on here) was telling me about wherein the power is cut for more than several hours on end. Makes for plenty of misery there, although I don't consider that aspect of it as relating to the song. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!

Bio 2024:  I am still an amateur singer/songwriter 😊 But i don't do so many covers now  as before... Instead i try to focus on doing my own stuff..And i am doing great collabs with PJ Project  ( and some others fantastic people here) ..That has been , and is, a wonderful experience for me. Bio 2023:i am an amateur singer,  who loves to sing.  Mostly cover with backing tracks, but also originals . I can not  play any instruments, so for now i Just have my voice ,and backing tracks...  But my son was so kind and gave me his guitar,  so i can learn 🥰  I also make music in Garageband, on the computer.. Thank you so much for listening , likes, repost and comments ..
