Magpie:
There is a cosy lounge in my little treehouse
Not really the biggest one, but it's large enough
For stacking the shiny things I find around
I'm the Magpie king, carry on!

I use it to expose my favourite loots

Birds:
Magpie, we've lost some goods today
Things don't vanish like that, do they?

Magpie, you took our stuff away!

Magpie:
I can hear the little birds crying in the forest
I get all their complaints, but I couldn't care less
I'm dancing at the sight of my golden nest
I'm the Magpie thief, I'm the best!
Some think one day they might get back their treasure
But I know I prefer to forever
Keep with me all these items of great value
I'm the Magpie, whatcha gonna do?

Magpie, we told the wolves today
They don't really like you, do they?

The Magpie Ditty

Demo of a long progressive track I'm currently working on.

Made a mistake and played the first part of the intro in ternary, but it's kind of interesting so I might keep it like that.

Also I was a bit drunk and sick so the voice might be a bit wrong.

Recorded a quick first demo of a song I've been working on for quite some time. The last verse is missing, but here are the current lyrics:



Two boys are wandering the desert, and something
Tells me that I should know their names.
One is a devil, the other’s an angel,
But really they look just the same.

They laugh and they dance, it makes no difference
To them to be lost.
They embrace and whisper sweet words to each other;
They don’t know their cost.

Their footsteps in the sand draw a symbol in the end.
It looks like such a bad omen,
The kind to pour anger, hatred and terror
In the heart of every single man.

They stop and lie down, everything’s been done,
Their role is over.
The light will soon hit this place which was unfit
For the two lovers.

The kids outside play; The sky won’t stay gray,
It’s about to turn so bright.
